With the help of two interpreters – one a Portuguese speaker and one a sign interpreter – I understood that this woman (in her late thirties) had been born dead in both ears and had never spoken. Immediately both ears began to be slightly opened. She began smiling and her huge smile never left her freckled face! Over the next 45 minutes her left ear totally opened! We prayed, commanded, blessed what God was doing, blessed her, and broke a generational curse of deafness. Her mom and others were deaf also. Many times we stopped and asked if she wanted to continue. She wanted more! She testified on stage to her one ear opening with sound coming from her mouth, but no words since her tongue had never learned to form words. We then prayed for her tongue to be loosed and for speech to come. No change in speech yet. The deaf man next to her was her husband. Chris was praying for him. They were glad for us to bless their marriage. Great joy! I am blessed and expectant of continued healing for them both. – Nichole Cockburn
I was at my attack force team church (Santa Cruz.). there was this teenage girl about 17-18 in age. She had injured her right hand playing soccer. I said to her tonight you are going to see a breakthough. God wants to give you full movement in you hand. I asked the girl to keep moving her hand as I prayed. I said God was taking his hand and touching it to yours. I also prayed for the pressure in her thumb to go away in the name of Jesus. I asked that fire fall upon her hand touching it. As I was praying, she began to take off the bandage on her hand and move it more as she was being healed. She began to weep as God was taking all pain away. I asked her how she felt and she was 100% healed! Seeing the girls face was well worth it. This is a healing will never forget. – Sara Dentremont
I prayed for a lady around 65 years old. The doctors told her she would never walk again. She was standing up and walking before I prayed for her but she was in a lot of pain. I put my hands on her and the Holy Spirit told me to tell her to jump. So, I told her to jump and she said, “No, I can’t.” I said, “The Lord says you can.” She was very nervous and shy. So I took her hands and I started to jump. Soon, she started jumping too and tears began to flow. I grabbed her and hugged her and she broke even more with tears. I asked her how she was feeling and she said the pain is gone. Thank you Lord! She had pain in joints: neck, back, knees…but not now. – Ryan Bridgeo
After giving words of knowledge concerning spines and backs, I prayed for about four different people with problems in their shoulders, necks, spines, and backs. On all of them, I loosed the spirits of affliction, broke off the heavy burdens weighing down on them, and released peace into their whole bodies. They got healed! I prayed for a lady, who had heart problems, and she said that her heart felt like it was literally on fire! There was a lady who had problems with her wrists, because she was a hair stylist, headaches, and heave weight or a pressure on her chest. I knew that the pressure she felt was demonic, so I commanded her wrists to be healed, broke off the afflicting spirits, closed the door to witchcraft, and told the headaches to leave. Her wrists and her headaches were healed! She said that she felt lighter and that there wasn’t anything pushing down on her chest anymore! Another lady I prayed for had black veins (whatever that is) in her legs and feet (especially the right) and had problems with her left arm and shoulder. After I released wholeness inter her arm and commanded it to be healed, she said it felt like her muscle was pulled up to her shoulder and there was no more pain. She could rotate her arm from her shoulder without it hurting! She also said her legs felt better. After praying for each individual, I blessed them, released peace, and released fire. Almost all of them fell over! There was a lady who wanted to be healed of depression. First, I hugger her, while released God’s love. I could feel her break as she started to cry. Next I broke off the spirit of death and depression and released peace into her mind. When I was done, she looked completely different! I released more joy, peace, and love. A man came up who was totally deaf in both ears for 20 years. I commanded the deaf and dumb spirit to go, I commanded the ears to open. After about three to five minutes of praying, the interpreter spoke in his ear and he could hear! Both ears were instantly healed! The man was happy and smiling. Praise the Lord! – Wendy Miller
This guy came to the meeting who had been in a wheelchair for 17 years. His family had brought him every night and he had been prayed over. He was having a progressive healing, but still could not walk. He also did not talk or respond because he had lost hope. That night I was the only one available to pray for him. I’ve never prayed for a lame person before, so I was kind of nervous, but I had faith for him to walk. I sat down, layed my hands on his legs and started praying. I prayed for like, ten minutes, but because he couldn’t talk I couldn’t know what was happening. He looked like he wanted to walk, but I didn’t keep praying till he came. When he came we prayed a little more then they helped the guy to his feet, and he walked! He walked maybe 3 yards, then he was tired. When he sat down he had this big smile on his face and he started talking! – Mary Mast
The pastor asked if we would pray for a lady who lived right beside the church. So myself and 3-4 others went with the pastor into his neighbor’s home. The lady was 83 years old and she hadn’t walked since October 6th 2007. We prayed for her and she got up and walked around all by herself. She was very excited and so was her daughter.
That same night we also saw one ladies hip & thigh healed. We also saw 2 more hips healed, 1 knee, 1 headache for 2 years healed, 1 sinus pain around the nose healed and the pastor’s ankle who was scheduled for surgery. – Ryan Bridgeo
My wife and daughter had already prayed for one ear (per person) for two different people. I joined each of them to see the other ear totally opened on one and partially on the other. I prayed for a woman with rheumatoid arthritis since her youth. As I prayed, I began to help her move her arms. Soon she was dancing a jig of joy. Another person with the same condition came to me after it was announced and she was immediately healed. From there I saw approximately ten people in a row healed from back, shoulder, and neck pain. One man had constant pain from his lower back that went through his right leg, and has been unable to work. Within a minute the pain had left as he stomped on the ground. – Robert Cockburn
Toward the end of the meeting, one of my translators asked me to pray for her, as she had migraines. I just started praying like I usually do when I felt her jerk. I opened my eyes to see she had just launched ten feet away and is writhing on the ground under the Spirit. Another translator is stunned, and the third walks up to me and was like, “What did you do to her?” – Mark Glenchur
A man around 40 years old came up to me and asked me to pray for his left eye. He was born with spot(s) on his eye which caused blindness. I prayed for him 5-6 times and his went from 60% better to 80% to 100%. Praise God! He was very happy afterwards. – Ryan Bridgeo
My first ever world of knowledge was this: I saw a young woman between 20-30 years wearing a white shirt and blue jeans who had a problem or pain in the middle and lower back. Guess what? Two women came to me for prayer exactly dressed like that. Both got totally blasted, two in a row. – Mark Glenchur
A woman asked for prayer for a benign tumor in her uterus. When I began to pray the Lord said He wanted to heal her broken heart. So I asked her if she had any sadness in her heart. She said “yes” because she had been robbed. When I put my hands on her to pray I actually felt a dull knife-like pain in my own heart. So I prayed until the pain in my heart disappeared. Then I asked how she felt, and a beautiful smile lit up her face. God had healed her broken heart! – Jane Glenchur
The other day I was led to a particular verse: Matthew 12:43-45; it’s about the evil spirits that leave your body wander in the desert and if you aren’t filled, the spirit brings back six friends (with a vengeance). (That’s the first word.) Then the preacher asked for words today and I felt alcoholism but didn’t say it (2nd word). During ministry a man asked for prayer for alcoholism. I prayed for him, he was healed. But I gave him the verse and stressed the importance. He came to me later and said his chest was filled with fire. It was great. – Peter Reyes
One middle-aged woman came for healing tonight with very bad pain in her right hand. She also had a cyst in that hand, as well. I prayed a while for it, and I felt healing come through body. She said it felt better, but I asked her to shake off that pain. Finally, she was completely healed. As a sign of deliverance, I felt Jesus say to have her punch my hand with the hand, AS HARD AS SHE COULD! I had to keep telling her, “No, no no, as HARD as you can!” Finally she got a good one off, one that Rocky could be proud of. Hallelujah! – Andrew Grabau
The American team was called to stand in the front by Jamie and he called the people to come for prayer for healing and so they came up to us. This one woman came up to me and had thyroid gland issue. It did not cause any imbalance in her, that she knew oh, but it hurt all the time. So we started to pray and command healing and after like 3 prayers, she was healed. Being amazed that Jesus would do this through me, I was so touched and we hugged and cried and in English she said, “This is love,” and yes, yes it is, how loving our Jesus is. – Laura Marie Springer
1) Earlier during the morning service I was set free from all fear of death as well as the cares of this world. I felt a change in the atmosphere in and around. I felt set free.
2) A lady said she saw herself dying on the 8th earlier that day. I cast out the spirit of death and fear as well as freeing her from any other spirits. I passed on the freedom from the fear of death that I received earlier.
3) A mother asked towards the end of ministry time to pray for her son who had begun to feel ill during the service. As I was praying for him I had an unction that he was sick often and was plagued by a generational curse and some spirits. I had the translator ask his mother if he was sick often, she said yes and that he had to have many surgeries. I began to pray and I broke those spirits and curses off of him. After about a minute-thirty his face lightened and I felt the atmosphere change around him, his breathing smoother and less painful.
4) A man came up as we were preparing to leave asking for prayer for his sinuses. I prayed a quick 30 second prayer and asked how he was doing. HE WAS COMPLETELY HEALED! – Tyler Franke
At one of the churches we went to Jason had us pray for the sick. One lady came to me although she didn’t say anything I asked my translator to ask her what was wrong. She was able to find out that she was deaf. So I began to pray that the spirit of deafness would come out of her. When I was done she told my translator her ears were tingling! So I continued to pray while at the same time I spoke over her she was a princess of jesus and the Kingdom of God. Then all of the sudden she had her ears open! – Josh Conte
At the end of the meeting, I prayed for about 13 people. One little girl had a skin disease. I prayed for her to be completely healed, in the name of Jesus. I put my hand on her head and prayed for more power. When I finished, she was completely healed. Then I told her we were not done. I prayed that she would go back to her school and tell all her classmates of her testimony. Not only that, I had her put her hand on my head, and told her that she would pray for healing in her school. – Andrew Grabau
1) I had a little girl about four years old come up to me and say that she wanted prayer for her eyes to stop burning (because she had taken a shower that morning and had gotten soap in her eyes) and for a mosquito bite, so I prayed for her eyes and she said they stopped burning so she gave me a big hug and wet kiss, then ran off to play with the other kids.
2) An older lady came up to me and Merideth for prayer for her headache and for her upper back so we both prayed for her and after the first time we prayed for her she said all the pain was completely gone. – Valyssa Bock
A lady had a problem with her knees so that she couldn’t bend down without them hurting. She had been like this for 14 years. For days before the meeting she hadn’t been able to walk, the pain and stiffness was so bad. I prayed for her once and then asked her if she could bend her knees. She bent all the way down. Zero pain. Another lady had injured her shoulder. She is a driving instructor and injured her right shoulder turning the steering wheel. She couldn’t raise her arm above her shoulder. I prayed for it, commanded everything to be repaired, and asked to try moving it. She raised it straight above her head. No pain. – Christa Cannon
George (who described himself as a worker at the church) approached me after the meeting with his family. He told me that he watched me all night pray for his congregation and that four people had come up to him and testified that they were healed after I had prayed for them. He told me, as he began to weep, that I prayed with as great a courage as he had ever seen. (I know it sounds like bragging) I was humbled to my core. – Robert Cockburn
When preparing for this trip I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I knew my heart was hungry for God but I had never witnessed healing in person, muss less through my own hands. The second person I prayed for came to me with three painful cysts in her right breast. As I began to pray for I felt something was interfering with her healing and as I looked at her she appeared to be “locked up” – her posture was hunched, her face was tight in a grimace, and her fists were clenched. I asked the translator to ask her what she was feeling and she said she was afraid God wouldn’t heal her and the cysts would be malignant (when she went to the doctor). She was so focused on fear that she could not receive the healing God had for her! I immediately began to pray for the spirit of fear to be broken from her and I repeated the tiny bit of Portuguese I could remember – “mais pas” (“more peace”) – over and over again. As soon as I began, she relaxed her posture and I could see light washing over her as God healed her body. I told her to lift praise to God and continue to receive! She probably would have been slain in the spirit had there been a catcher available but we just tried to hold her up! As she cried she repeated that her pain was gone and she believed god had healed her – Hallelujah! I Afterwards I told her I loved her and she hugged me more tightly that I have ever been hugged before! – Courtney Wharton
Peter and I were sitting with some friends during the end of worship and we started to talk about our walk with God and how we came here without intentions and how we’ve turned out backs on God but we felt like we were touched and we truly experienced God in an immense way and were very excited about it but were afraid that when we go home we could lose it and go back to our old lives, and how we have so many ties to our old friends and lives, and how we need to leave the ties that will drag us down. And then Pastor Gustavo started to preach about the temporary for the eternal, the bread for the stone. He spoke our thoughts and conversation word for word – it was like he read out thoughts and was speaking straight to our hearts. I feel like I can do it, like I can go home and continue about what I started to live for god in all I do. I came to Brazil for something to do in my summer but I’m leaving with a new heart and sense of life. I can’t wait for my next journey. – Rose McKinney
One particular even stood out to me during the healing and ministry time at the church with about 2,000 people. Although God has used me as a vessel for emotional healings, I had not yet prayed and seen a miracle when praying on my own. Finally, breakthrough took place and every single person I prayed for received physical healing in some significant way. After seeing blurry vision improve, two backs and a leg healed, and old woman with throat cancer approached me. My faith had been built up by the other healings I had just seen so although I felt a little nervous, I was expectant that god would show up. I placed my hands on the woman’s throat (earlier in the evening God had sprinkled my hands and many others with golden sparkles) and I began top pray for healing over her. After praying about two or three times, she improved by 50%! At that point I plateaued so I asked a friend (Annie) to come help out. After praying and binding the spirit of cancer, the woman began to cry and total healing began to enter her. Annie spoke truth to her and told her that in three days, she would have complete restoration. The woman also received Christ as her savior that night. Praise the Lord for incredible and complete restoration and for taking the old and making it new. – Grace Shuler
Today, after will preached and we were called to heal, there was a blind man who we began to pray for. About six of us were praying for his eyes to see, just as Jesus had. He was not healed today, but I really feel he will be. I know he will be. And we prayed that his generation curse would be broken, and I feel it had. So I keep pressing in, because I know he WILL BE HEALED! – Andrew Grabau
I was praying for a man at one of the churches. He said that his mouth was really hurting him, and so I prayed for his mouth to be healed and it was. After that he then told me he had a lump in his mouth. I commanded it to die at the root, and within a minute of putting light pressure on it it vanished! He was amazed at what had just happened. So after that I began to speak things of joy, honor, and authority on his life. – Josh Conte
There was a young boy who had an eye problem since birth. He couldn’t see without his glasses. I prayed for about a minute. My translator showed him some writing and he could read it without his glasses! So I prayed again so that he could read even smaller print. I showed him a Bible and he could read it perfectly! There was a lady that wanted prayer because she felt far away from God. I prayed for her and hugged her. After releasing God’s love on her, she broke down. She was so happy! There was an adorable little boy that wanted prayer because he had bad dreams and thought there were monsters trying to hurt him at night. I released God’s perfect love that casts out all fear, God’s peace, and joy. He had a huge smile! He said he was much happier! – Gabriella Cockburn
Last night I started feeling anxiety in my chest and I couldn’t shake it. I asked God why it would come back after I had been healed of it in April, and didn’t get an answer. I then asked God to take it away if it was a word of knowledge and as soon as I did it left instantly. I didn’t have a doubt in my mind about praying for people because God had already shown me the healing through healing me of it. And 12 people were healed of anxiety of the heart that night. – Kristy Brazil
On the way to the church this evening there was such a peace on the bus, but it was almost heave and was starting to put us to sleep. Jason was talking about how we were going into battle and did not look ready for it. He and Tracee started getting us pumped and told us to drink of the new wine. By the time we got to the church we were all alert and ready to do battle. During the ministry time I had a woman come up who had neck and back pain, headaches, and pressure behind her eyes from fibromyalgia. After a short time of praying I had the interpreter ask how she felt. The woman replied all the pain and headache was gone but the pressure on her eyes remained. I gently placed my hand over her eyes and commanded all pressure to go and the fluids to balance in Jesus’ name. The interpreter asked how she felt and we were told “completely healed!” Praise the Lord! I sealed the healing in the blood of Jesus, we hugged and praised God for the healing He did. – Evangeline Joy Galliford
Tonight was our first night in the Phase II churches and I have to admit I was apprehensive. God has been moving in such amazing ways, but I still felt somewhat disconnected from it all – until tonight. We began the meeting with words of knowledge. Even the way god gave me my “WoK” was awesome! I had been pressing hard into prayer and I was getting nothing and then, when I opened my eyes, the screen in front of me (for song lyrics) was out of focus. I knew it was for blurred vision or blindness! I opened up my bible and the following verse jumped out at me: “When he had gone indoors the blind men came to him and he asked them, ‘Do you believe I can do this?’ “yes Lord,’ they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, ‘According to your faith it will be don’t,’ and their sight was restored.” How’s that for verification? Five people came forward to be prayed for and I only had time to pray for two people before the message began. As I finished, standing in line behind the person I was praying for was a small boy. He had crossed eyes, thick glasses – obvious vision problems. All I could think of was, “this is so big.” It’s like seeing a person in a wheelchair – just overwhelming. I just wept seeing his face and praying, “It’s bigger than me but not bigger than God,” over and over. I know in my heart I had to pray over him myself – I had to be there when God healed him. So at the end of the message he comes forward and I make eye contact with his mother and wage her towards me. He was beautiful. His mother told us he was blind in his left eyes and 75% blind in his right. I sat down in front of him and he walked right to me and took my hands. Jesus told me that he wanted to see his face. I took off his thick glasses and tilted his head upwards and began to pray very gently over him with my hands over his eyes. My heart cried out because I wanted to feel that presence – my spirit needed it. When I removed my hand he lowered his face and looked at me – really looked. I was almost scared to ask how he felt! But he told the translator he could see! We covered his “good” eye and started pointing to things – ‘What color is this?” “Red!” “How many fingers?” “Four!” I scooped him up and lifted him above the crowd of people around us and they went nuts! One of the translators began dancing around with him in his arms – it was amazing. God is so good in his healing – both of blindness and my own spirit. – Courtney Wharton
Today, I blasted eight people, in short prayers. The whole week I hadn’t blasted directly a single person. But now I really feel the power of God, and just really tuning in to Him. I also only received about three worlds of knowledge the whole trip, but today I had like seven or eight. It’s just so awesome to feel the presence of God move. That blind man we’ve been praying for all week keeps taking more steps of faith; and I really feel like he’s almost there! Hallelujah! – Andrew Grabau
A middle-aged woman came up to me and my friend Emily asking for us to pray for her. Earlier that week she had fallen down and hurt two of her fingers. She was unable to move them and she was in a lot of pain. So we both prayed. Twenty seconds into the prayed she was healed! YAY GOD! – Natasha Perez
The red team was at the really church and during while we were praying for people at the end we prayed for a woman who had pains in her legs and feet. As we were praying, people came up saying “We have to go!” We three girls really wanted to keep praying, but we couldn’t. So we looked at our translator and asked her if she could pray for that woman and she said yes of course. We laid our hands on the translator to anoint her and not even twenty seconds later she started shaking and was trying to get in the floor to pray, but it was hard for her because of being filled with the spirit. We just know the woman with pain was completely healed even though we don’t know for sure. – Casey Arthur
A woman came up to a friend and I saying that something was wrong with her voice and that she was going to have to have surgery to get it fixed. She could no longer sing and she wanted to be able to sing again. We prayed for her and she said it was better, but she couldn’t tell. I told her to start singing and se all started singing Agnus Dei together. The longer we sang the better her voice sounded. She was so blessed and started crying because her voice was completely restored! Praise God! – Seth Baird
On night I prayed for a man in a wheel chair. He could not feel from the waist down due to a car accident. We teamed up on him, and prayed, and I ended up having 2 visions about him. One that the bone marrow in his legs was being transformed (he had had transplant surgery for it that was unsuccessful at some point) and replaced. I also saw an angel behind him lift him from behind in an embrace, and as that happened his spine realigned and all severed connections were replaced. We ended up having to leave that night, but before we did, he was experiencing cold on his left leg. Something he hadn't felt in 14 years. He came back last night to the next church we were at, and although I didn't personally pray for him, I knew when I saw him that he would be healed, because the lord had revealed it to me through those visions. That night he stepped out in faith and began to walk for the first time in 14 years! Praise be to God! Isn’t that just amazing!!!??? – Kristy Brazil
An 85 year old woman had a severe hearing loss for five years. Her daughter told me she had to shout for her mother to hear her. After praying for her she could hear normal conversational speech! A boy (? Young teen) had trouble breathing through his nose. After prayer he could breath normally. He also said he had depression, but after praying he felt joy in his heart and had a smile on his face. He said he wants to pray more! – Jane Glenchur
So one of the other team members and I were talking about the similarities in our walk with God we both came to Brazil lacking intention, feeling far from God. But when we got here we got touched by God and knew how special that was. But we both were afraid of our lives would fall apart when we went home. We talked about falling for the enemies temporary temptations. As we were talking, the worship leader (Pastor Gustavo) began to preach about giving up what the temporary for the eternal (rocks and bread) and how relationships can attach us to our old life. It was just really powerful for me and the girl I was talking to. – Peter Reyes
I was approached by a man and her daughter, who had head and stomach pain. When I prayed, the pain left, but then the mom told one daughter also had had a broken arm (left). However, the bone was in the wrong place. Afterwards, the bone had stuffed toward its proper place. – Mark Glenchur
1) Prayed for a woman with pain in her feet. The pain totally left her.
2) Prayed with a man who had arthritis all over his body. Pain completely left his 4) body- had great mobility in hi legs after prayer!
5) Prayed for a lady with pain in her side. Pain left. Then, the Holy Spirit fell on her in a powerful way, she fell out under the prescence of the Lord.
6) Prayed for a beautiful couple who wanted to serve the Lord together, heeding to a call of God on their lives.
7) Prayed for a lady who needed emotional healing. She wept and wept as the Holy Spirit touched her. Then, she had released and was filled with joy and laughter
8) Prayed for a lady with lumps in her neck, right under the jaw bone. They all disappeared!
9) Prayed for a woman who had multiple cancer lumps in both breasts- they totally dissolved to nothing in the presence of the Lord!!! She and I both wept with joy and excitement, thankfulness!
10) Lady with lower back, muscular pain- pain left her.
11) Boy 11 or 12 years old had respitory problems, couldn’t breath in deep at all. Afterwards, could take deep, deep breaths!
12) Lady had emotional healing- prayed for her, she wept, then began to laugh. 13) Later, I asked her what the Lord did in her life. She said she could not begin to put it into words, she was so overwhelmed with the peace and love of God, but she said it was good! – Holly Bridgeo
We learned about healing and words of knowledge today. While we were recieving the impartation this morning, they gave us a minute to soak in the lord and use our newfound skill. I couldn't believe it, but I did actually get a picture in my head. Random as it was I decided to put my faith in it. I didn’t understand it but I knew it was of the lord and it could change someone else’s life. I was called up to the front with about 20 other people who had never received a word of knowledge before (btw don’t let the name fool you, they can come in forms of vision, seeing, hearing, just knowing, and many other ways).
What I saw was a jar sitting on a yellow countertop, in a kitchen with dark brown counters. Strange I know, it took me a lot of faith to stand up and say that in front of 160 people. When I spoke it into the mic no one even stood up. Didn't surprise me, because I know that many times people will come up to you later, or it will reveal itself at another time. Well in this case, I walked off to the side of the stage and was almost to my seat when the lords glory just came down on top of me and I fell to the ground in laughter receiving the electricity. When I was finally laying calmly I felt a hand touch my shoulder. A girl had come over, and said that the word of knowledge that I had was for her. But that she didn’t put two and two together until after I had left the stage. She said that was her grandmothers cottage, and there they had jars that they drank out of instead of glasses. She didn’t know why it would come up. I asked if I could pray with her, which was a huge step for me because I have had a blockage for years about praying out loud. Let alone praying for someone when I didn’t know what I was praying for! But for the first time ever I had divine guidance through my prayer, and I started praying for her family. For unity, so that the relationships would be strengthened and that Jesus would become the glue that binds them together, and to heal any relationships that were already struggling or estranged. I had no idea where I was going with that! In fact I really just put it in faith and I wasn’t the one putting the words in my mouth at all! After I finished the prayer I looked at her and she had tears in her eyes. She said her grandma was 93, and that she’s been really worried about how her family will react and fight over the cottage when she passes. She was afraid it would rip apart relationships. Praise God for growth! Can I get a hallelujah?! Gloria Deus!
Tonight was the first night we went to different churches in teams, and the first time we prayed over people. I saw one emotional healing that the lord gave through me. And altogether my group alone saw 57 healings that were at least 80% better or full, including 2 blind people receiving sight, and one deaf person receiving healing. Praise God! He is doing amazing things here! And you can't help but get drunk in the anointing he's bringing down. I love it! – Kristy Brazil
I have had intense back, neck, and shoulder pain for the past four years. I was involved in an auto accident in January 2004. I was rear-ended and suffered a whiplash injury. The past four years I have been treated at different times, by 12 doctors, chiropractors, therapists, and pain specialists. None of the treatments have been able to get rid of the pain. The doctors said I would be in pain the rest of my life. In Sept. 2007 I decided to stop treatment and settle with the insurance company…two weeks later I was involved in a second auto accident. This accident made all my pain flair up again…as weeks went by my pain became unbearable and I had to start treatment again. So, from January to April of this year, every week I had to have 10 injections followed by a rigorous treatment. At the end of these months of treatment I was supposed to be pain free, but I hadn’t improved more than 20%. So…I came on this trip still in pain. On the first day of preacher/teacher training we have a time of activation for words of knowledge and someone had a word of knowledge about my shoulder. She prayed for me right there. I got some of my mobility back in my arm but still felt the pain. About five days later, during worship on the impartation night, I felt like the Lord told me to check my body. As I did I moved my neck around and felt no pain. I couldn’t do anything to make it hurt. Next I started to move my shoulder around. It still hurt, but throughout the rest of worship, I kept moving it, and the pain left. I checked to see if the inflammation in my rotator cuff was gone and it was. Because of the inflammation in my rotator cuff, my first rib had been displaced. But I checked it out and it was back in its place. Praise God!
Back when the insurance company settled my car accident, I received some extra money and the lord urged me to sow it into this trip to Brazil. I am so thankful for the way the Lord has transformed my life. He has shaken me, set me on fire, given me deliverance and freedom, changed my mindset, and restored love to my hardened heart, all of which led up to my healing. – Michelle Williams
Sunday morning after Will had finished giving the message he called the Global team up for ministry. The last person I prayed for had told me she had pain and pressure across her shoulders and wanted relief from that. I could feel her muscles were very tense and tight, so I started praying and commanding the muscles to relax, all tension to be released and the toxins to be flushed out of her body. I asked if she felt better and was told her right shoulder was healed, but her left one still hurt. I could feel a huge knot there, so I laid my hand on it and started praying. All of a sudden God dropped it in my heart that it wasn’t just physical, that I deeded to be praying for a letting go of all the burdens she had been carrying, knowingly or unknowingly. I could feel my hand getting hotter and hotter and could feel the muscle relaxing. When I had finished praying I asked how she felt and she said 100%. I asked if she could feel the heat. She said no, but felt a hand reach up and pull all the pain, heaviness, and tension from her shoulder! Today Gabriella and I were praying for a woman who had two of her best friends die very close together in time. She had a stroke from the shock and grief and was paralyzed on her right side. We prayed for a while and her speech came back! The first words out of her mouth were, “I love you, Mom.” So then we began to pray for her legs. She slowly began to pick up her feet and we began to walk her around. She had the biggest smile on her face and so we moved on to her arm, which was frozen by her side. She got feeling back into her arm and hand! She stretched out her arm, but her hand was still crumpled. We are all still praying and believing she will be totally healed in the name of Jesus! – Rebecca Waller
I prayed for a lady with numb hands and all the sudden her hands and arms started violently vibrating. All the feeling was restored to her hands!
I prayed for a guy with pain in his hamstring. He had stood up earlier because someone called out that word but he did not get healed. So I started praying for him then told him to move it around. He told me it was partially healed. So I prayed again and he was completely healed!
A young girl came up that had breathing problems. She couldn’t get any air through her nose. I prayed and then she was able to take deep breaths through her nose. – Tabitha Cockburn
I saw God heal back pain. Upper middle back pain. We were doing street evangelism, and the Lord gave me a word of knowledge about a young man coming our way from a distance. Ten minutes earlier I had been pressing into God for words of knowledge as we were walking. I approached the guy with three other Brazilians Christians, one of them being a translator. He was in a hurry, I asked the interpreter to tell him, if he had back pain. He said “yes,” I quickly laid my hands on his back and then he checked it…totally healed! – Gadi Ruwytare
Friday morning I had a perfectly clear snapshot vision of a woman in her 60s, with short gray hair, glasses, and a blue blouse. I inquired of the Holy Spirit what was wrong with her and for what purpose He had given me this vision. The Holy Spirit told that this woman had a tumor in her breast and that He was going to heal her. I looked all day Friday for her and didn’t see her. Then, I looked all day Saturday, but still no 60-year-old woman with short gray hair, glasses, and a blue blouse. I was discouraged and figured I would just pray for sovereign healing.
But the next night, as I was sitting in church, I turned around, and sitting right behind was the exact woman I had seen in my vision. Exactly! I was so excited. I got a translator and asked if she needed healing prayer and for what. She said she needed healing for tumors in her breasts. I screamed and told her the vision and that God was going to heal her. I prayed, and she went out in the Spirit for a long time. She got up later and said that she was healed! – Ward Coe
I was at the church that was out in the poor part of town where the drug lords lived. People came from all around for healing. This church made my heart melt. The worship was awesome and the people were so friendly. They fed us very well at the church. I call that church the “Mango” church. I prayed for a lady who was about 45-ish in age. She wanted prayed for her drug addiction. She had been snorting cocaine for some time. I prayed that she would not want to snort the drug anymore. Also that it would not be pleasing to her body and she would crave other things that are good for her body. I asked God to cleanse out her body of any impure substances and refresh her body. I knew the lady was receiving her healing because she was weeping in my arms and thinking me. God confirmed for me that her stomach would reject the chemical from her body that night. I could tell the love was all around her. God’s love was blessing her life. She was a very sweet lady and Jesus was all around her. The smile on her face was well worth it. It makes me feel good when I can love on the person and share God’s awesome, wondrous love. – Sara Dentremont
On Saturday, July 12, I prayed for a woman who had a lump in her breast for 5 years. It was not cancerous but the doctor said she should get it surgically removed. I prayed that God's hand would dissolve the lump into nothing in Jesus name! I asked her to check later that night. I saw her again the following night, July 13, and followed up on the healing. She said the lump had gotten smaller! So we prayed again. She told me it was even smaller!!! Praise God! I believe Jesus dissolved the whole tumor. – Joy Deminski
I was praying for this girl who doctors told that she had serious allergies. The doctors didn’t know what she was allergic to but it made her very sick. I prayed for her and she said she was 90% better. She also said she was having family problems and it was putting burdens on her. I prayed and all the burdens were lifted! – Zoe Wristen
First, I had a word of knowledge about a top right jaw that hurt to chew. I felt like it caused the person to chew more on the other side, causing lots of pain and problems. I also had one for difficulty breathing. I had been an intercessor during Jamie’s message and a girl named Silvia had been our translator. It turns out she was the one with the jaw pain, I prayed for her for like 30 seconds and she was like, “it’s all better!”. A little later, I prayed for a woman with a pain in her stomach. We prayed for a few minutes before she declared the pain gone. As I just blessed her, she began to weep. So, we prayed for her for another 5 or 10 minutes bust blessing her. I was born with a rare bone disease. During worship, a word of knowledge was spoken about a right collarbone being healed. I had an overgrowth on mine that went in the name of Jesus! I also had two tumors on my right forearm that grew because my arm never fully recovered after surgery. Another word of knowledge came forth and one of them was dissolved! Over the course of the trip the other tumor has begun to shrink. It’s almost gone! Yay! Praise God! I also received words of knowledge for the first time! In fact, the very first one I got was for someone with a pain in their right lumbar area. I got to pray for the man that stood and he was100% healed! And I got revelation while here for what God has planned for my life! I am going to be a hairstylist! And that word came through Global staff! Also, during Outreach on the streets, I ministered to and prayed for 3 people, 2 of which were heavily into drugs. All 3 came to church and answered to the salvation call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so glad that at 24 years old, God is stretching me out of my comfort zone and showing me what my destiny is. I have been pressing in for 6 years now. Wendy and I were praying for this woman with pain in her arms, hands, and feet. God told Wendy that it was because of bitterness in her generational line. So we started telling her to repeat after us and breaking off generational curses of bitterness. We asked her if she knew of any sins her family or ancestors committed. She said that her husband sleeps with many women and even animals. So we broke off curses of lust and lust and perversion. We asked the woman if the pain was gone. She said that most was gone but that there was little left in her arm. We prayed for God to heal her completely, but even after that she said there was a little left. So Wendy asked her to ask God what was keeping her from receiving complete healing. Wendy explained the different ways that God speaks to people-through the Bible, through thoughts, through peace in a difficult situation. We asked the woman to listen to God’s voice. Then, we asked her what she was thinking. She said she was thinking, “ God speak to me, God speak to me, God speak to me”. We told her to just rest and receive. As we were telling her this, she told us that God told her that she had to forgive her son. Wendy exclaimed, “yes”, because that was exactly what God told Wendy earlier but she didn’t think about it much. Wendy felt the Lord speaking that as well. The woman forgave her son. I was so touched at seeing her cry that I started to cry too. After she forgave her son, we asked if the pain was completeley gone. She felt her arms and said yes. Praise God! – Jamie Tsai
On the street – Man with dementia, crazy, partially dressed. He was known by our translator. She is his neighbor. He was living in a car with dogs. I held his hand and felt his deep pain, grief and loneliness. I told him why (his wife passed away) and how to be restored. Both he and I were weeping. He received Christ and was instantly healed and in his right mind without prayer. He said he was going to shower and come to tonight’s meeting!
In the church building – A woman came for blessing upon her family. She received Jesus and wanted emotional healing, empowerment to be a wife and mom, and to bring her husband to the Lord. She attended the 2nd night service as well and was baptized in the Holy Spirit and fire in the fire tunnel at the Presbyterian Church!
There was a young man about 25 year old. He was epileptic and having constant spastic movements, fear, nervousness and pain in his entire body. After prayer all his pain was gone, he was peaceful and had a huge, joyful, contagious smile! His parents were weeping with joy! They all attended the 2nd night service also with great joy!
There was an elderly woman between 85-90 years old. She was a diabetic, and 1 leg amputated, was filled with cancer and had a lot of pain. After prayer all the pain was gone! He son was with her. The healing is to be confirmed by a doctor. All the pain was still gone on the 2nd night! – Nichole Cockburn
I had a word of knowledge about a woman named Mary with a pink shirt. During ministry time she came up to me and I prayed for her. Amen! Her stomach got healed! Awesome! I also had a word of knowledge about a shooting pain in my arm. The lady came up to me and got 80% healed! Being used by God is amazing! – Danielle Cockburn
So this lady came up for prayer that had a stomach tumor. I asked her to put her hand exactly where it was. While I was praying I put my hand on top of hers. I though her hand started to shake, but I realized it was her whole stomach shaking! She was so surprised and all her pain left! She could no longer feel the tumor!
I also prayed for another lady with a growth on an ovary. She was immediately filled with God’s joy and started laughing and vibrating. I don’t know if she was completely healed but I know she was radically touched by Him! – Tabitha Cockburn
As I was praying for a young man God gave me an vision to tell him and a prophetic word. Once the man left my interpreter, Felippe, asked how God showed me that picture. I briefly told him exactly what I saw and how God can speak to us in many different ways. I asked him if he wanted to see things from God and he said yes. So me and another girl prayed for him and God told me He was going to give him a dream that night and that he should write it down and tell me about it the next day. Earlier that evening our preacher had a word for him about letting God use his talents for His glory like musicians use music. The following day he ran in the church so excited! He said, “God gave me a dream! A beautiful dream! I was sitting in a chair writing a beautiful song for God!” He even wrote down the song! It turns out that just a few months ago he bought a guitar and began learning how to read music. How cool is that? – Abby Savage
God showed me a word of knowledge of a spine with fire going up and down it. One older gentleman came up and said it was him and that he was in a lot of pain. After praying once he said it felt exactly the same. The second time God told me that he was pouring water like a watering can down his spine. After telling him that he got excited! Then he said “I feel fire from God now! It’s not a painful fire!” He was 100% healed!
A beautiful pregnant woman of 8 months came up to receive prayer for the birth and for her baby. She also had two numb fingers on her right hand. She said the doctor’s said that was normal, but she did not agree and neither did I. So first we prayed for the birth and for everything to go perfectly. Then I commanded whatever was making her finger numb to leave now in Jesus Name as I was gently touching her two fingers. I continued to touch her fingers as I began sayings blessings over her son. Just a few seconds later she smiled so big! She said “I can feel it! I can feel it!” – Abby Savage
Prayed for a woman with emotional hurts, she cried and cried, releasing so much hurt from her father's abuse. Later that night, I felt the Holy Spirit had more for her. We prayed again. However, we had no interpreter. It just seemed to flow right from my spirit to the Lord, right into her spirit. I felt that there was a call on her life for ministry. After praying, she found an interpreter and told him to ask me to pray again because she felt a call on her life to be a minister. I was so excited and encouraged! "Tell her that is just what I prayed!" She just beamed and gave me a big hug! I told her go to her home church and tell her pastor! – Holly Bridgeo
1) Prayed for a man with pain in his back and leg. Pain totally left him!
2) Prayed with a lady with cyst on lower abdomen and tumors in her breast. All the pain left her. I am believing that God took those growths away too. However, she will have to have it confirmed by a Doctor. – Holly Bridgeo
Prayed with a lady with breast cancer. Prayed, the pain left. Prayed again and her tumors shrunk 50%. Prayed even more and they shrunk another 30%. She had to leave, but I invited her to come back to church the following night for her complete healing!
Prayed for a little five-year-old girl who had a sore throat. She got touched by the Holy Spirit, and felt his presence, as she was twitching and shaking a bit. All the pain left her body! She was so excited!
Two little boys came forward for prayer. One with a sore throat and one with a headache. The pain left both of them!

Prayed for a lady who had pain in the back of her hips and tha pain completely left her! She also had pain in her knees and not much mobility! The pain left and after prayer she had full mobility! PTL!
A lady came forward for prayer that had an operation on her head that left her with daily migraines. Prayed together and the migraine left!
One lady who asked for prayer had pain all over her body. I prayed for her in my heart, not even out loud yet and the Holy Spirit came on her in a powerful way and she fell out under His sweet presence! – Holly Bridgeo
Global Kindness day. The outreach was awesome! Our group had the privilege of leading two ladies to the Lord. One was married to a man who practiced witchcraft and that scared her. We were able to share about God’s love and protection for her and she accepted Christ. The other lady asked us to pray for her little boy who had a headache at the time. God healed him right in front of her and she asked Jesus to be her Lord and Savior! We also prayed for a lady we met on the streets who had a toothache and quite a bit of inflammation. Her toothache left and the inflammation went down! – Holly Bridgeo
Before worship began, I kept noticing a woman in the audience. My attention went back to her often. I asked the Holy Spirit what was up with that, and he said He was going to heal back pain in her. During WOK time, I almost spoke this out to her, but I decided to wait until ministry time and see if she came up for prayer. Well she did come up for prayer. As she came up I motioned for her to come over to me for prayer. She said she needed healing in her back from scoliosis. I told her that the Holy Spirit had said he would heal her. I told her delicately that often unforgiveness is a source for back issues. I asked her about her father and she said that he was abusive to her. I lead her in some prayers for inner healing and she was touched by the Father’s heart and His love. She cried and cried as the Lord began to healing her heart. She later told me that she had never experienced the love of God in this way. - Ward Coe
I had a blast praying for a woman that asked for prayer for a sinus infection, headaches, allergies and back pain. As I prayed, her sinus infection and allergies (runny nose) left immediately, but her headache and back pain increased. The Lord gave me a WOK that her mother had been involved in witchcraft. I asked her if this was true and she said her mother had been a witch but had later become a Christian. After identificational repentance, I broke the power of this generational curse and commanded all spirits of witchcraft to leave. I then prayed for headache pain to leave. It all left as she began laughing. We thanked Jesus for all the healing (sinus infection, allergies, runny nose, headache.) Then she really started laughing as all of her back pain left. - Ward Coe
This was at Apascentar Jacareoagua. This was my first 100% healing. I prayed for a woman with a problem in her right shoulder. This woman was about 55 years old. She had not been able to lift her arm for the past 4 months. I asked God to give her full range of motion. I prayed that the muscles would not tense up and all of the pain to dissipate. I told her to keep moving it. I touched her shoulder and felt the fire upon her. She was very warm. I asked her how she felt and she said her shoulder was 100% healed. The woman was so overjoyed and happy with her healing that she gave me a big hug. After that she told me she had been healed of cancer several years ago. This woman had a very open heart to receive God’s healing. – Sara Dentremont
I was praying for a teenage boy with a shriveled right hand. His hand was very cold and it did not have any veins from his elbow to his hand. During the prayer a vein formed in his arm from his elbow to his hand. I did not notice this as I was praying with my eyes closed but I heard his mother screaming. I opened my eyes and the mother and the translator were pointing to newly formed view in his arm. His arm did not stretch out yet. But I believe this is the beginning of a bigger miracle. - Ryan Bridgeo
