As soon as I started praying, she acknowledged that she hand tingling or tickles in her right hand. We dealt with unforgiveness, anger toward God, and the trauma, but didn’t see any real improvement. After about an hour of praying, Richard and Traci joined me in praying. We confirmed she was a Christian and she stated she accepted him that evening, so we had her verbally confessed it. Through more discussion with her family we found out she had been taken to a witch doctor. After renouncing and shutting the doors to the occult, we again prayed for her, and she could move her right foot and leg slightly and consistently when she wanted. Her sister asked her if she wanted to get up out of the wheelchair and she said she did. Praise God, she could walk. Her right foot had been in a brace because her foot turned in so badly. We had removed the brace earlier. Not only could she walk but also her right foot began to straighten out.

A young college-aged male student had severe knee problems. He was in dance and theater and was having problems dancing. After praying, he felt no real difference. I felt he should worship the Lord with dance, and when he was done, his knee was healed and he went upstairs to continue to worship the Lord without an audience.

An elderly woman, about 80 years old, was blind in the right eye from a tumor or cyst that had been removed but had caused the nerve in her eye to be broken causing blindness. She had 10% vision in it and could only see in black and white. Early that day she could not have seen her hand if it was right in front of her face. After praying the first time, she could see her hand and distinguish her fingers. After praying again, her color blindness left and she could see quite a distance. The third time we prayed she could begin to make out words on a sign across the room. She had had a great amount of faith that she was going to be healed.

On Friday night (5/8) I moved to the other side of the altar/platform for ministry time so I could hear the people. I ended up on the side where all the chorus women were and I seemed to get many of them to pray for as result.

I walked past a professional woman whom I didn’t intend to pray for, as she was neither exhibiting the presence of God upon her, nor had her hands out in the receiving mode. As I walked past her she jumped as though electricity zapped her. I took that as a clue the Lord had an intention there. I began to pray quite generic things, as I did not have a translator. In a short time she was on the floor with me the catcher [seemed as though she had never experienced this in the past].
I left her lying on the floor and continued praying for others in near proximity, trying to make sure no one stepped on the one lying on the floor. At one point she opened her eyes and said something, but couldn’t get up. She received more prayer and rested in the Spirit again for a time.
I helped her get up when it was time. She motioned that her lower back was hurting. I prayed and the pain went. She was somewhat amazed. At this point she began relaying a litany of concerns, none of which I understood so I just prayed for provision and consolation.
My translator reappeared and we prayed for a very insistent woman nearby. She had a photo of her son whom she wanted me to pray for. He had been involved in drugs and was recently stabbed. She knew he needed freedom from alcohol and deliverance. Rather than pray for the son, I impart the presence of the Lord to Mama so she could pray for her son.
Back to the first woman, who has now brought her half sister and business partner for prayer, too. They requested prayer for finances for their business as a partner had cost them greatly. I prayed for provision and counsel them to thank the Lord, tithe and testify to what He has done when it happens.
There seemed to be major themes of financial betrayal and gastric problems – especially in women - in this church.

– prayer for the terminally ill – When they called for testimonies, I was SHOCKED to see one of the women I prayed for in line to testify. I had prayed for her without a translator, so hadn’t been aware there was a healing. At the end another woman, this one in a wheelchair, I’d prayed for came up to testify that the pain in her leg and back had left when she received prayer. Yeah God!
This night was the huge response to the call for salvation. One of the individuals who responded was the professional woman I’d prayed for the night before. During ministry time she brought me another woman to pray with and further insisted I pray for her sister who has cancer over her cell phone. After she told me her sister understood English I did pray over the phone.
The woman from the previous night who had asked me to pray for her son returned with a bunch of relatives and friends to pray for. However, the topper was following all those, she brought her son forward to receive prayer. She was delighted he had come. I spoke a bit with the son before praying for him; he showed me the stitches from the stab wound. He received prayer and rested in the Spirit on the floor without much effort. Mom was elated!
A young woman requested prayer for her left armpit area and, I thought, a back injury from an accident a year ago. After praying for a bit we asked her to test it out and see whether there had been a change. Her hand went to the back of her neck and as she began to move her neck she began to weep – she was healed. We called Alun to film the testimony and as we interviewed her further, we learned she had lost her balance while running a year ago, which resulted in her running into a wall. She had required a neck brace following the incident, but nothing had helped the great pain she’d experienced since the incident. Now the pain was gone! I asked about her original request regarding her armpit; that was still a problem. We prayed and that situation was healed as well. From there we prayed for two more individuals, but at the end of that time I saw that young woman still on her knees, weeping and praising God for setting her free. Near the end of ministry time an older woman was standing on the sidelines watching the young woman weeping on her knees. I motioned if she would like prayer. She responded that young woman was her daughter whom she had come to pick up. I said she could still receive prayer and asked whether she had pain somewhere we could pray for. She replied that the bottom of her feet were hurting. The pain left with a brief prayer and Mama was touched with the infilling of Holy Spirit.

Pacho’s Papa asked for prayer for his knees deteriorated from overuse in the military as a young man. Before too long the knees were restored, which he continued to demonstrate to me every day we were in that church.

A man named Alfonso came for prayer for his ear; he had no hearing there. When in the military a grenade had exploded near his ear and also caused great injury to that side of his face, as evidenced by the fact that he could only speak out of one side of his mouth. We prayed for his ear and he testified later from the stage that his hearing had returned 10-20%. Personally, based upon testing with the translator, I believe he received more of his hearing than that.

At the end of this last night when no one wanted to go home, two girls brought their mother to me for prayer. I prayed as the Lord led and the word of knowledge spoke of intercession, she is an intercessor for the church and is to raise up other intercessors. I believe this word of knowledge was right based upon what happened next. She prayed for me! In addition, everything she prayed had already been in my heart, so I take it as prophetic rhema I will see come to pass.

A group of six of us was privileged to be taken to a hospital to pray with patients. This is the first time a hospital has allowed prayer to come to them. One woman was designated as our directress; she went ahead and checked whether patients would be open to receiving prayer from the ‘American missionaries’. We started on the ninth floor of the hospital and worked our way down, split into two teams with each having a translator. The few hours we were allotted were not nearly enough! We only made it down to the sixth floor and didn’t even get to pray there, but imparted the Lord’s healing to the staff there so they could pray with the patients.

The most notable situation I encountered with the team I was privileged to pray with was when the directress said there was a man in one room who was under arrest. The police had cleared us to pray for him. He was willing to receive prayer and he even desired to pray the prayer for salvation.

Nearly every person we prayed for in the hospital had one or more visitors who also were exposed to the prayers we brought, so more lives were touched than the ones we were praying for.

The first service ministry time seemed too easy – when I prayed they rested in the Spirit almost before I’d uttered any words [sans translators]. Later some of the other team members reported a similar experience and we jointly thought it might have been a portal of the Presence that we had encountered.
The usher who brought the first person I prayed for indicated she had some disease he didn’t know the name for. I began to pray for her. After a time someone else came along to say she had AIDS. I earnestly desire to hear the report one day that she was healed!
Prior to the second service beginning I somehow followed Richard to a room set aside for deliverance ministry. There were three women there. I ministered to one of them at length after she finished manifesting. Several times the Lord rested on her, pouring His love and peace out upon her as she wept. Near the end of my time with her, she told me she had a little girl. I commented that her little girl now had a new Mama. That comment was very powerful.
During the second ministry time I prayed for fewer people, but longer with each one. Of note was a father that brought his two daughters for prayer, one about eight and one about two, whom he was holding in his arms. As I finished praying for the daughters I began to pray for Papa. Immediately he began to weep which caused his little girl to become apprehensive. She continually wiped Papa’s tears and even his snot! It was wonderfully memorable.
A mother came for prayer pushing her young son, about eight, in front of her. As I began to pray the mother began to manifest with tremendous shaking. Her son was greatly confused and concerned. I indicated to him that everything would be OK, and took him from Mom’s embrace to under my left arm so he wouldn’t continually feel her manifestations. After a period of time I believe the mother received a breakthrough as she became peaceful.

At the morning service I prayed for a woman holding her young son in her arms. I could tell the Lord touched him. When the prayer was finished, he raised his head with the most delightful look of astonishment and joy on his face that I will never forget it.
Following the evening service when the line those desiring prayer was completed, I noticed several young men [age 15-17?] and motioned to them whether they would like to receive prayer. After a bit of conversing to decide who was going to be brave enough to go first, one came. He was touched, which opened the way for the rest to have their opportunity. All this was done without a translator. I believe at least one of these young men was called to ministry in the streets and schools. Almost all surrendered to Holy Spirit and lay on the floor for a period of time soaking, but never more than one at a time!

In Cali, Colombia, there was a woman who had been in a severe car accident six years ago. She was completely paralyzed on one side, and mostly on the other. In the six year, she hadn’t walked once. We started praying for the sick one hour before the service that night, and this dear woman came. Several from the team started praying, and after a while, we saw her with the biggest smile on her face as she started to move her feet for the first time in six years! As the meeting progressed, so did she. While I was on the stage interviewing people for testimonies, she started to walk (with some help) across the floor of the church. The look on her face was so precious! Again, as the meeting continued, she gained more strength, and took bigger, stronger steps! Simply because of a lack of time, she’s returning tonight to see what else God will do!!
One of the pastors on our team, Fernando, had a very powerful testimony. This one is crazy! He prayed with a lady that was struggling with unforgiveness. She had put a hit out on her husband, but the hit man shot the man without killing him. Now she and her husband were back together and she never had told him that she had tried to have him killed! She couldn’t live with the guilt. Pastor Fernando prayed with her and told her she would need to at some point tell her husband and ask for forgiveness.
The next night she shows up with her husband! They are both weeping. The husband had been shot in the shoulder head and hand. The husband was totally healed, he had been backslidden and now was going back into the ministry!
I prayed for about 20 people and three people were healed. One guy had arthritis in his finger and can now move it, one lady had arthritis in her wrist and can now move it, one lady had a pain of some kind under her arm, and now the pain is gone. At first when I was praying for her she felt cold and still had pain. Then I asked if there was someone she had to forgive and she said yes so I lead her through that then I prayed again and this time she felt warmth over her and the pain was gone.
The others were broken hearts and family restoration topics and two people wanting to get right with God and know His presence.

Prayed for a waitress, with a 3-day migraine, at the hotel. Her headache left her after about 30 seconds of prayer. The lady began to sweat a lot and felt the presence of God on her. In the afternoon she said she was going to take her 8yr old daughter to the church meeting for prayer for Leukemia.
A boy who was totally deaf and mute from birth, came to us for prayer - evidently there had already been a lot of prayer for him, so we were working on a good foundation. So we started praying. Nothing…and praying…nothing… and praying…nothing. Not a thing. No feeling of God’s Presence, no change at all. This went on for close to 45 minutes. Then, he signed that he could barely make out the noise in one ear when we snapped next to it. We decided to make him try to talk, even though he had never spoken before, as a step of faith. He was soon able to make sounds for the first time in his life! Slowly, BUT SURELY, by the end of the prayer time HE COULD HEAR EVERYTHING AND WAS REPEATING SENTENCES!!!! YEA JESUS - YOU ROCK!!! is that not the best?! I thought so!
An 8 year old girl had cancer (no hair) went through chemo and now was not producing certain hormones, so she wasn’t able to hold fluids in her body. She also had an inoperable tumor in her central nervous system that would eventually cause her to go blind. Danielle (the coordinator here in Colombia) and I started to pray for her. “What do you feel?” She felt heat in her head and her stomach (I had been praying on her stomach area for organs to start working and to have no effects from the chemo). God was all over her and she knew it - she was so overwhelmed and excited. She then asked Jesus to come into her heart and was saved! So we got her to pray for her sister, whose hormones were out of whack - we didn’t touch her sister (we wanted her to know that she had the power of God in her - she didn’t need us). Her sister had heat going through her body and peace. We turned the two of them on the aunt who had pain in her stomach and knees- all the pain left! Then they prayed for the mother (I can’t remember what was wrong - but she got healed too) and lastly, they all laid hands on the father who had high blood pressure and he felt the heat and presence of God too! How’s that for a family revival!!!
A lady with unforgiveness was set free and felt fire healing her knees and intestines after she was delivered. As Rich walked from the altar into the crowd, people just fell over when he touched their foreheads. At the end of the morning, when we were leaving to get on the bus, Rich’s interpreter (who is 13 ) said “not again! I wanted you to pray for me!” as he prayed for her, the Spirit of the Lord came over her so strongly that she had to be driven home and went to bed because she was so full of the power of the Lord!
Tonight Randy preached to the youth (around 600 kids) about the different ways that God has moved throughout history in revival, and we asked God to pour out on these youth to bring revival to them and their city. The Holy Spirit powerfully touched so many youth tonight - one little boy I prayed for (4yrs old) had the sweetest disposition. He stood there with his little hands out and his eyes closed, and after about 10 seconds of praying “Jesus, just let him see your angels”, he just slowly fell back onto the floor in the most peaceful way. He was so cute! God was all over him! Another boy jumped in Rich’s path and asked him to pray for him. He couldn’t worship the way he used to be able to. By the end of the prayer, the boy was so released; he had a visible joy and he was smiling from ear to ear! He said that he had found freedom!
Rich prayed for about 45 minutes for a guy who was colorblind, almost completely blind (could see faint shadows), and his eyes wouldn’t stay straight. After about 5 minutes of prayer he was starting to see more. When Rich’s hands were on his eyes, he could feel electricity in his eyes and dots of light. After about 45 minutes, his sight had increased by 80%. At the end of the night, he came back to Rich and told him that earlier in the night, his shirt looked green, but now he could see that it was white - he was also healed of colorblindness!
There were probably about 2500 people at the conference tonight; well over 300 testified that they had been healed (many of those were healed without anyone actually laying hands on them at all - they just stood up and the leader prayed from the front). Some healing testimonies from our encourager group were as follows: healed of indigestion, healed of pain in side and calf, two degenerative spines healed, a deaf person now hears, asthma healed, and lots of deliverances from oppression and sadness. this is a poor report - because there is so much more - but it’s late and I still want to download a picture or two.
Last night was amazing! We’re just getting ready to get some breakfast and head out for the day! Last night Chris from Global Awakening delivered a great message. At the end he asked the Lord to come and he did. The whole church in prayer for about 10 or 15 minutes before he called the team up for words of knowledge! He asked that after the word was given if you had that condition to stand and begin to check out your body because the Lord was going to heal. Chris would ask five of the team for words and then go back to the congregation asking who had been healed... asking them to raise their hands. Then back to the next five on the team for words and it just went back and forth like this for the next half hour or so. By the end we were standing on stage counting hands and rejoicing in what the Lord was doing. About 95 healings without the laying on of hands!
So here are some fun miracles of God from today: Rich prayed for a guy w/ pneumonia who felt fire on his lungs and then fell out under the power of God (oh, by the way, just about everyone Rich prayed for fell out - mostly on the people I was praying for - I was getting jealous!!
). There was a couple considering marriage - after telling them that they needed to go to the Lord and if He told them to get married they should do it quickly, the girl fell over immediately and started shaking. One man couldn’t touch his toes because of his back - after prayer, he could touch his toes! I prayed for a girl who could not breath thru one side of her nose (something physically blocked, not a sinus or allergy thing) and had tightness in her lungs - after praying a bazillion times, her nose opened up and she could breath! We haven’t heard of all the other people’s testimonies but I know that Pastor Bob had three people with severe asthma healed to the point that they could RUN from the front of the church to the back (take that one to encourager on Sunday and release it!) A few other testimonies I heard were- a deaf ear healed, a blind eye opened, pain in people’s backs and shoulders healed, and a number of people saved. You could see the burden just drop off of them - you could see the joy of Jesus in their eyes when God touched them!
