When someone expresses an interest in sharing our passion for ministry, not only do we get excited, we also take it very seriously!
A place of agreement is a place of power! Corporate prayers, corporate anointings and prayers flowing together in unison are forces to be reckoned with! It is important to know that the concept of partnering is not a man-made idea. It is a powerful ordinance of God meant to bring increased favor, blessing and rewards. The Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 1:3-7:
I thank God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now... all of you share in God's grace with me.
Paul was telling his partners that they were an integral part of his ministry team that God put together for a divine purpose to bless and anoint.
Similarly, in the Old Testament, King David set the scriptural basis for partnership with his response to the fighting men who were hesitant to share his spoils after a battle when he said 1 Samuel 30:24:
The share of the man who stayed with the supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to the battle.
