Topics Covered Join us at Movement, a worship / arts weekend at Global Awakening. We are honored to have John Mark McMillan and his band with us! Each evening is totally unstructured - no plans for playing videos, or preaching a message. We are simply coming together to worship the one who is worthy of our praise!

On Saturday morning we will hear a message on creativity from Jamie Galloway. In the afternoon we will divide up onto specialized workshops. You will need to pick a workshop - Drama, Dance, Art, or Worship. For drama, you will be with Karen Knight from Sight and Sound theater. For Dance, you will be with Emily Galloway who is a dance instructor for Dance Revelation. At the Apostolic Resource Center there are two large dance studios where you will be able to have practical application teaching. For Art we have brought in Katie Stevenson, a talented artist who leads the worship art ministry at Life Center located in Harrisburg, there will be a nominal charge for paint supplies in this workshop. If you don't want to be apart of any of those workshops then sit in on teaching about worship with Tim Spirk, the worship pastor at Christ Community Church. After you register, you will be contacted via email to select your workshop. We'll see you at Movement!

John Mark McMillan is a songwriter, worship leader and artist with a passion to see the Lord move through creative expression. He served on staff at MorningStar Ministries in Charlotte, NC for 3 years. In 2006 he and his wife Sarah left to establish what is now Worship Arts Revival, a ministry that works with artists and worshipers around the world to impact their communities.
John Mark has led worship, taught, and performed extensively across the US, throughout Europe and in South America. His songs are sung around the world and have been recorded by several artists and worship leaders including David Crowder and Hillsong.
John Mark currently resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife Sarah and their son Jude.

Jamie Galloway has a heart to spread extreme intimate encounters with Jesus and His Kingdom across the nations. He believes God is calling His church into realms of His presence that only former generations dreamed of. Jamie and his wife, Emily, desire for the bride of Christ to rise up in this hour and influence this generation and those to come. Whether it is in the ministry or the marketplace, their vision is to see the works of Jesus in operation and a great end time harvest come to pass. The Galloways minister itinerantly both nationally and internationally, and their ministry is marked by signs, wonders and miracles. Jamie launched Global Awakening Prophetic Expressions under the covering of Randy Clark and the Apostolic Network of Global Awakening. The Galloways reside in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

Karen KnightKaren Knight - Drama
Karen’s heart for the Lord is evident in her soaring soprano voice. Best known for her roles as “Mrs. Noah” in Noah, the Musical and “Elisabeth” in The Miracle of Christmas, at SIGHT & SOUND’S 2000-seat Millennium Theater, Karen has sung in theaters and in church concerts all over the United States and in Germany, Israel and Italy. Drama ALIVE will be an activity packed afternoon that will include drama exercises, character development, stage movement, voice and diction for the actor, and short skits for learning new skills. The learning will be fun and informative and the goal is to continue to raise up Christians who can communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ through the arts!

EmilyGallowayEmily Galloway - Dance
Emily Galloway began her dance training at the age of five in Ohio. She had the privilege to train with award-winning instructors ranging from New York to Russia. After moving to Tennessee with her family, she completed her dance studies at School of Nashville Ballet. Emily started her professional career at the age of 17, becoming a trainee with the Nashville Ballet Company. Emily has taught ballet and hip-hop at several dance studios in Tennessee. Her heart is not only to teach excellent technique but also to impart the language of dance.

KatieStevensonKatie Stevenson - Art
Katie met Jesus as a child but experienced a turbulent period as a young adult with many losses including an early widowhood. God touched these wounds and transformed them into sacred portals of His healing and creativity which now flow through Katie to others. A pioneer in the area of worship arts, she has ministered in several churches since 2002 and currently leads the art ministry at Life Center in Harrisburg, PA. Katie uses a simple, down to earth teaching style to invite others into freedom and divine encounter while leaving a performance mentality behind. She is married to Greg Stevenson and they are the parents of three children.

Tim SprikTim Spirk - Worship
Tim Spirk is the Worship & Creative Arts Pastor at Christ Community Church in Camp Hill, PA. His passionate and unwavering pursuit of Jesus invites believers into deeper waters of pure devotion. His worship is marked by raw emotion and a prophetic voice, which inspires and releases new expressions of greater intimacy and wild abandon. In this place of connection, adoration and obedience, revelation flows and the seeds of transformation take root. His desire is to encourage others to make their life a song of unbroken worship.
Tim has a heart for both the creative arts and the artist. He believes when artists express their gifts back to the Creator, they emit worship that glorifies the Lord and ushers His presence onto earth, powerfully impacting society.

  • The conference will officially begin the Friday evening, at 7:00 pm. It will end on Saturday night.
  • The closest airport is the Harrisburg International Airport (approximately 30 minutes from the ARC). The next closest airports are the Baltimore-Washington International Airport (1.5 hours from Mechanicsburg) and Philadelphia International Airport (2.5 hours from Mechanicsburg).
