Honduras
Compassion in Action
March 19-27, 2010
Honduras Global Awakening desires to see healing and restoration of the individual extend beyond what medicine can do alone. By focusing on divine healing in conjunction with medical knowledge, this trip will give opportunity for medical professionals to merge their trained skills with the supernatural. They will witness miraculous signs and wonders as the poor receive divine healing and wellness through a holistic approach. What better way to use your professional training than to help the poor in providing health, healing and assistance to underprivileged in the nation of Honduras.

Medical professionals and skilled construction craftsmen are needed to make up this team headed to Honduras. We are asking for doctors and physician assistants, dentists and dental assistants, nurses and nurse practitioners, pharmacists, Spanish translators, and more to join us. Besides offering medical care, this team will also provide prayer for the sick, health teaching, evangelism and children’s ministries during the medical ‘brigades’.

In addition to medical outreaches, this ‘practical ministries’ trip will need a construction team who will work with missionaries to extend needed facilities as they enhance their ministry in the jungle area of northern Honduras. Working along-side local Honduran men will allow this team to actually impart professional “tricks of the trade” and spiritual strength in the workplace to these workers who will continue to up-grade their skills after our team leaves.
Come join Global Awakening on this ministry trip as professionals combine their skills with the supernatural to bring life, healing and health.

Speakers

JonesTomandBrendaWEB Tom and Brenda Jones
Tom and Brenda served as senior pastors of Suncoast Worship Center in Englewood, FL from 1995-2005. Their passion to lead mission trips into the nations emerged as they took teams who worked primarily with the poor. Over 35 years of serving in various ministry positions, partnerships have developed with other ministry leaders that now provide opportunities for team members to actually participate in what God is doing by being an extension of His hands, feet and voice. They resigned their senior pastorate position and now reside in Tennessee. Tom is presently serving as the Executive Director of Global Awakening while Brenda is currently a full time midwife, and leads international medical missions.
