The Rock Church FAQ
Is transportation provided between the airport, hotels and The Rock?
No. We suggest rental cars or carpooling with other conference attendees.
Is there public transportation I can use between my hotel and the church?
No, Castle Rock does not have bus or taxi service. You will definitely need a car. We encourage you to carpool with other attendees staying at your hotel. There is a free shuttle service from the hotel area to the outlet mall where you can transfer to a shuttle that comes within a block of the church. Please check with your hotel to find out the current schedule.
Can you help me find a place to stay?
There are several hotels listed on the Global Awakening website. We cannot book, guarantee or pay for anyone’s lodging.
Are there any hotels within walking distance?
No.
Can I check in early – the day or night before the conference?
No, the only check-in allowed is the day of the conference beginning at 8:00 am.
What do I need to have in order to check in?
If you are pre-registered you need only have your confirmation letter or some form of ID.
Can I reserve a seat?
Seating at the School of the Prophetic is open. You may reserve the seat you select each morning for the remainder of that day, but you must remove your personal belongings when you leave for the day. Please note there are no “bad” seats in this sanctuary.
Can you accommodate wheel chairs and other special needs?
We have special areas for attendees in wheelchairs. We will do our best to accommodate other special needs for the conference.
Is there a place for me to rest or nap?
We do not have places for you to nap. The main foyer of the building has some sofa-type seating where you may sit and relax.
Do you have a room for our group to meet in?
Unfortunately we do not have the space to accommodate groups in our facility.
Can I store food or belongings on site?
We do not have space for you to store food or belongings. You may leave things in your car in the parking lot during the conference sessions.
Is there room for me to park my camper or RV?
Unfortunately, we cannot allow attendees to camp in our parking lot or on the surrounding land. There is a Wal-Mart about 6 miles from the church that does allow overnight RV parking.
Can I bring my child or nursing infant to the conference?
We do not provide onsite childcare and only those registered are allowed in the sanctuary during the daytime sessions. We do have a nursing mother’s room for use during the day. See a welcome team member for directions.
What food or refreshment will be available onsite? We will have self-serve coffee for $.50 and bottled water for $1. There is also a soda machine in the foyer. Our café will be open limited hours selling snack items. There are many local restaurants within a few minutes of our facilities.
Do you have an ATM or check cashing? What forms of payment will you accept?
No, we do not have an ATM or check cashing ability.
- For purchases from The Rock cash is always preferred for food sales but we do accept Visa and Master Card for resource sales.
- For purchases from Global Awakenings bookstore/resource center you may use cash, check or most forms of credit cards
Do you provide sign language translation?
Possibly if needed.
Is there a place I can go to spend time and soak with the Lord?
Yes – see the facility map that will be handed out at the conference. There is an area marked “Soaking & Prayer Rooms.” Open from 8:30 am – 10:00 pm.
