Singapore & Korea
Singapore/Korea 2011
Cornerstone Church, Singapore
After resting and touring the city, we spent three days at Cornerstone Church as Randy and Tom taught a healing conference on the Biblical basis for healing, the five-step prayer model, words of knowledge and impartation. More than 900 signed up for the daytime sessions, and each night the church used overflow rooms to accommodate the crowds. Many received healing from words of knowledge as well as when individual team members prayed each night. A highlight was the Sunday afternoon youth service when Randy called young people to first time or deeper commitments to Jesus. More than two-thirds came to the front. As Randy and the team moved among the young people blessing what Jesus was doing, we had to watch our feet because the beautiful hardwood floor was covered with puddles of tears from deeply touched youth.
Wagner Leadership Institute, S.K.
WLI students are joyous worshippers who are desperately hungry for God. Many experienced healings during the three-day healing conference for 350, including many pastors. God especially moved to meet deep emotional needs. During the practicum sessions, participants practiced the five-step prayer model while team members coached those who needed extra help. The glorious impartation time lasted two hours as hungry Koreans experienced wave after wave of the Holy Spirit moving in power. Randy and team members touched and re-touched worshippers desperate for more of Jesus.
Full Gospel Daegu Church, Daegu, S.K.
After touring a national museum focusing on Korea’s Shilla period and tombs from early kings, the team visited the church to pray over it before the first service. Warfare seemed especially strong for a church looking to regain strength in an area with strong Bhuddist influence, including a temple recently built adjacent to the church. Many came to the open Friday night service, and it seemed most came forward for prayer. There were numerous healings, including a deaf ear opened. Saturday evening included impartation with most clearly experiencing God’s hand on them as Randy prayed and the team moved through the crowd, walking in sock feet along the pews as people stood to receive more of the Holy Spirit. Afterwards, crowds pressed to the front for healing, and team members prayed for two people at a time to try to reach everyone. A number sought salvation during an altar call, including one of the host translators, pressed into service by her boss who was praying she’d be saved. Throughout, the team was treated royally, with sumptuous meals and lavish hospitality, all provided by the church.
