Taiwan 2011

On February 6th the Randy Clark and a Global Awakening team departed their home countries on a ministry trip to Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Randy and the team were invited to the 2011 Kingdom Culture Conference in Taiwan hosted by Asia for Jesus. Other speakers at the conference included Heidi Baker, Bill Johnson and Philip Mantofa. The team arrived on Monday the 7th and began to recuperate and prepare for ministry. On Tuesday the 8th the team got acquainted with one another and attended a time of orientation. The afternoon was reserved for a little tourism before the event began. We rode the MRT (subway) to a beautiful wharf/park area and then went to the Night Market. Many interesting sights and smell filled our senses on the street.

Wednesday the 9th the team attended the orientation for the conference workers and volunteers. Before the orientation we were privileged to join in a short time of worship with the Taiwanese people. It was beautiful to hear 200+ people worship in Mandarin. The conference kicked off that night in a venue that held 10,000 people. The place was packed every night through Saturday. In the mornings and afternoon the conference attendance was 5,000 to 6,000 people. Randy taught on impartation in 4 of the 5 sessions that he spoke in. He placed the team strategically throughout the venue so that every single person received a personal touch and impartation. Randy also scheduled time to minister and impart to the team specifically. The impartation time was fun and Holy as the team received from Randy. Afterwards the team was asked to pray for the intercessors and workers that had been working nonstop without sleep or rest during the conference. All I can say is the back halls of the venue were littered with people rolling, laughing, crying, and in a peaceful state as they were being touched by God at an intimate and personal level.

The team also had lots of opportunities to pray for the sick. Every evening at 5:30pm before the evening service began; the sick would come into the venue and receive prayer from the Global team and many other volunteers with Asia for Jesus. If a healing or improvement was realized, doctors were standing by to record and verify it. We do not have the final numbers on what happened but we did record our own statistics. Here is a testimony of the two team members and the stats that we collected.

"We met a woman in the pre service prayer who had Parkinson’s disease for 3 years and she was sitting in a wheelchair shaking when we found her. We prayed for around 10 minutes and the shaking started to stop in her hands and legs. She could make a fist after this prayer when she couldn't before and she was able to lift her legs more than before."

"We got her up and started to get her to walk. She was able to walk better than before as she didn't drag her feet anymore but close to the stage she felt a bit weak. We sat her down and the shaking started a bit again so we stopped and prayed for another 15-20 minutes and in that time I sung over her and worshipped. She moved to the doctors at the front and something shifted and she started jumping up and down!"

"This was confirmed by doctors and then she walked off while we weren't looking to her original seat. We found her in the same spot we originally met her embracing her sister and we hugged and cried together. It was a really special moment."
