Foundations of Faith School, Feb 15-18

Introducing Foundations of Faith, a School of Healing and Impartation. 

The Purpose of this school is to:

• Compare, contrast, and weigh modern faith teachings with earlier evangelical writers.
• Theologically engage the teachings of the Word of Faith movement and their critics.
• Trace the origins of faith teachings, such as revelation knowledge, logos and rhema, seed faith, faith as a law and a force, covenant rights and inheritance, and attitudes toward medicine through the church fathers, mystics, reformers, Pietists, Puritans, and the Wesleyan, Keswick, and Higher Life holiness and Healing movements.
• Highlight positive, balanced principles of faith, guiding away from questionable teaching and practice, yet encouraging a strong, sound faith walk. Provide classic preaching, teaching and research materials.
• Outline the everyday application of words of knowledge and the five-step prayer model.

This School is based upon the book Only Believe by Dr. Paul King. Randy has invited Dr. King and Pastor Joe McIntyre, who wrote the book E. W. Kenyon and His Message of Faith: The True Story. We believe that these books are the two most important books for understanding the message of faith, greatly helping to clear away the fog of misrepresentation and clarifying the benefit of the life lived by great faith. If you are interested in understanding more about healing, and especially the role of faith in regard to healing, you will want to be part of this event.
