Several neighbor women had gathered and wanted us to pray for them. One lady was filled with the Holy Spirit and got really touched by God. A young Hindu woman asked us to pray for her. I talked to her about Jesus and prayed for her. The minister said he would follow up with her and explain the way of salvation through Christ Jesus. Others were healed in the village. A grandmother and her two grandsons and a Hindu mother and her child had high temperatures which returned to normal when we prayed. An older man was lying on a bed in the front porch like room of a house, with very bad stomach pains, obviously very sick. He said the pain left when we prayed. Several people accepted Jesus, but needed follow up.

We were taken to a village where we were told that all except four or five families were Christian. We stopped at a very small, dark hut where an older woman was lying on a mat inside the door. It was too small for us to go in. I noticed that the stone outside the door where the women ground spices and herbs for cooking was very dirty and had obviously not been used for a long time, so I assumed she’d been sick for a long time. She could hardly creep/crawl to get herself outside to where we could pray for her. She had intense stomach pain and terrible pain in her legs. She was obviously very sick. We were told that she had demons. When we prayed, the power of God came and she began to react. We kept praying for deliverance and healing. Each time we asked her, she said she felt better. I wondered if she was just saying that, but the next morning, the minister from the village told me she was completely healed.

This girl was blind in her right eye for a month. We prayed for her. She said she sees a little bit of light going through her eye. Prayed again and she could see out of her right eye!! I checked her at the beginning before prayer and she said she could see only black out of her right eye!!

We prayed for the children who had gathered after explaining who Jesus is and gave a salvation message. All the children wanted to make a commitment – approx. sixty children and then approx. fifteen adults also made a commitment. The pastor is going to start a church.

We went out to a forest village today. We prayed for a lady who had been deaf for ten years. She had a slight improvement so we continued to pray and test how much she could hear. Prayed about three times and she was able to turn her head to the sound. Her daughter arrived and confirmed that she had been deaf for ten years and could now hear.
