Greater Encounters Every Day

When we are full of “our stuff”, it can be hard to listen for the Holy Spirit. No one would fault us for having responsibilities with our work, with our spouse or with our children. But we also need to not be too busy to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to us. He is looking for those who will learn what it looks like to develop fellowship with Him.

In this video, I share how we can keep overflowing in the Holy Spirit when we keep receiving from the God Who is God.

  • Fellowship with the Holy Spirit isn’t a separate thing from our everyday life; it is our life. In Him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28).
  • Seek the Lord to find Him because He is good. Jeremiah 29:11-13 says,

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.’”

  • Realize a continual burning revelation is available when the Holy Spirit tugs at your heart and says, “Come”. Imagine being commissioned by God like Moses in Exodus 3 when the Holy Spirit uses a “burning bush” to get our attention and—we turn aside, stop what we’re doing, and give Him our whole attention.

Now is the time for us to give ourselves to learning—learning to listen and hear God’s voice, to see what He’s doing, and to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

God bless you!

P.S. Global Awakening has built a conference around connecting attendees with the Holy Spirit. As you seek His guidance and courage, pray about attending Greater Things this summer. I believe it will be a key time for all involved, and they are bringing in speakers (including me!) and worship leaders that God has put on their heart for this season.
