Founded in 2011, the Randy Clark Scholars is an accredited Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) Focus Group through United Theological Seminary (UTS). Global Awakening has partnered with UTS to create a ground-breaking course of study which educates Kingdom-minded ministry leaders.
This is a fully accredited degree and you will need to have an accredited Masters of Divinity and three years of ministry experience in order to qualify. Students with a Masters of Theology or a secular master’s degree can participate by first completing the UTS Pre-Doctoral Program.
Each year of this three year program will include two week-long intensives held in Dayton, Ohio and a three-day meeting in Pennsylvania during each phase to complete their 32 hours of face to face peer session time.
Sitting under the mentorship of respected scholars and being encouraged by a diverse group of ministers and pastors has been a very rewarding experience for past students. Invitations to join future groups of Randy Clark Scholars will be issued by Global Awakening.
“This Focus Group will prepare leaders both Biblically and practically to understand the place of, and move in, the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit in proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. We will survey the biblical evidence concerning the relationship of miraculous healing to preaching the Gospel in the ministry of Jesus recorded in the Gospels, as well as tracing the same relationship reflected in the New Testament epistles. We will also survey antecedents to healing ministry found in the Hebrew Bible, the Old Testament. The New Testament evidence clearly suggests that healing miracles are actually demonstrations of the Gospel in action and are symbolic demonstrations of God’s forgiveness of sins through Christ. This group will also participate in prayer clinics involving practical equipping, training, and impartation of the Holy Spirit’s gifts and power, so that we can obey Jesus’ commands to his disciples to preach and to heal and to teach all believers to obey all that he commanded them.”
