Doctor of Ministry — Randy Clark Scholars

Founded in 2011, the Randy Clark Scholars is an accredited Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) Focus Group through United Theological Seminary (UTS). Global Awakening has partnered with UTS to create a ground-breaking course of study which educates Kingdom-minded ministry leaders.

This is a fully accredited degree and you will need to have an accredited Masters of Divinity and three years of ministry experience in order to quality. Students with a Masters of Theology or a secular Masters can participate by first completing the UTS Pre-Doctoral Program.

“This Focus Group will prepare leaders both Biblically and practically to understand the place of, and move in, the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit in proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. We will survey the biblical evidence concerning the relationship of miraculous healing to preaching the Gospel in the ministry of Jesus recorded in the Gospels, as well as tracing the same relationship reflected in the New Testament epistles. We will also survey antecedents to healing ministry found in the Hebrew Bible, the Old Testament. The New Testament evidence clearly suggests that healing miracles are actually demonstrations of the Gospel in action and are symbolic demonstrations of God’s forgiveness of sins through Christ. This group will also participate in prayer clinics involving practical equipping, training, and impartation of the Holy Spirit’s gifts and power, so that we can obey Jesus’ commands to his disciples to preach and to heal and to teach all believers to obey all that he commanded them.” —Quote from United Theological Seminary website

Each year of this three year program will include two week long intensives held in Dayton, Ohio and a three day meeting in Pennsylvania during each phase to complete their 32 hours of face to face peer session time.

Sitting under the mentorship of respected scholars and being encouraged by a diverse group of ministers and pastors has been a very rewarding experience for past. Invitations to join future groups of Randy Clark Scholars will be issued by Global Awakening.

What to Expect from ConnectUp

ConnectUp is a prayer ministry. Personal sessions include prayer focused on healing of the heart, freedom from oppression, and personal encounter with God. We are focused on inner healing and deliverance ministry through prayer and do not offer counseling services.

The ministry team will consist of two to three people. One of them will lead the session and the others will be praying for the session. Each of the team members have had their own ministry session, received training on ministering to others and participated in a mentoring process. Anything shared during the ministry process will be held with utmost respect.

Your participation is an important part of a ConnectUp session. The Team Leader will be praying for you out loud, and will invite you to participate in the session by asking you questions, and/or inviting you to pray specific prayers to God. As part of the ConnectUp ministry session, you may be invited to pray prayers such as: “Is there anyone I need to forgive?” “Is there a lie I have believed?” “What is the truth?”

There is a suggested donation of $50 for a personal prayer session. Donations can be given before or after ministry through the website iconnectup.net. This is an optional donation for those who can participate. ConnectUp serves individuals regardless of whether or not a donation is given.

How to Prepare for a ConnectUp Session

In the days leading up to your session, there are a few things you can do in preparation:

  • Consider if there are any specific areas in which you would like ministry.
  • Spend time praying for your session.
  • If you can, fast from media and/or food for a day prior to ministry.
