When I moved into the hotel, the young man on reception, Carlos, was very helpful to me. I began to speak about Jesus to him, and I could see he was very open. He told me a pastor had given him some verses in English. Before we went out, Carlos spoke to me and asked me how to pronounce some words in a prayer of commitment. He then prayed the prayer, but having asked him if he meant it, I had to go to the bus and told him I would talk to him later. We came back, and I asked one of the men on the team to be with me as I talked to him about salvation and prayed with him. He was serious in his commitment and said he was already beginning to read the Bible and pray. I also prayed for his girlfriend Louisa (not present with us). – Josie, Retired Teacher/Missionary
