Our team went to the notorious Bronx to minister to the drug addicts and prostitutes. Immediately after arriving, I saw a middle-aged man on crutches. Carlos and I approached him and asked if we could pray for him and he said yes. He was having pains at a level of 10 on a scale of 1 to 10, and he reported that his doctor was going to make a prosthesis for him tomorrow. We are not sure what he meant by that, but I considered it was probably a cast. I asked him to put his hand over the area of pain and got his permission to put my hand over his. I invited the Holy Spirit to come and release His power, and I commanded the pain to leave and the leg to be made whole in Jesus’ name. We then asked what level the pain was at, if it was improving, and if he was feeling anything happening as I prayed. He said the pain level was at 6 and that he felt heat. I told him that the Lord was touching and healing him. We prayed twice more and the pain went to 0. Each time after praying, I would ask him to put weight on his left foot and move around. His mobility returned, and he had a big smile on his face. Gloria Dios.
