On March 3, twenty one team members plus three Global Awakening staff members met at London Heathrow. All came on this trip with different and shared expectations and from various parts of the world. We had team members from the United States, Norway, United Kingdom, Zurich, Australia and Ireland. Over the next nine days our lives were impacted and changed as well as the hundreds we were able to minister to. On the bus trip from the airport to the hotel, we saw a beautiful rainbow confirming to us that God's promises and His covenant with us was everlasting and He would take us through the next nine days.
We began our adventure at Christ Church in Peckham for two days. The people there were expectant and hungry for more of God. We experienced a sweetness of the Lord's presence and many were touched, equipped and encouraged in the Lord. At the next place at St Paul's in Hammersmith we participated in four days of the Kingdom Foundations Conference. Over 700 participants packed out the sanctuary, many coming from other nations. It was a time of equipping and enlarging our hearts with the Father's Love. The worship was awesome; especially on the third day when the Glory of God was so strong many were on their knees worshipping. We saw many transformed through a physical healing, an emotional healing, or just an encounter with the love of God. Some experienced miracles through the power of forgiveness. The message of Papa's love by Leif Hetland impacted us all and his impartation of the Papa's love through his eyes was powerful! The impact of learning from each other and seeing the ways different team members minister was also a blessing
The last stop on our journey was at St. Paul's Addlestone. These people in this location were a bit more reserved but very hungry for more. I was so blessed to see an elderly lady get whacked by the Holy Spirit and leading the way to the front for prayer.
The children and youth were included and were impacted at St. Paul's Addlestone in a very definite way as Tom Jones gave special time to minister to that age group. All team members visited the oak tree where George Whitefield (Whitfield) preached and they were powerfully impacted. Whitefield was one of three men who were used of God to bring about the Great Awakening of the 1700's.
Team members gained confidence that they can hear from God with multiple opportunities to minister and see immediate feedback that they were hearing from God. The unity we shared as a team and a new worldview of the unity of the body of Christ was amazing. We had our challenges with health issues, but we moved ahead and God's grace brought us to a new place of identity, awareness of His presence and a deep gratitude for the many membered body of Christ.
We are grateful, as a team, that we were able to be a small part of the Great Awakening that is beginning across the world. We were impacted to impact others. We will take what we gained and give it away and see a multiplication and increase of God's Kingdom.
