The Singapore Kingdom Invasion 2014 conference was an awesome gathering of over 4000 delegates, including 1000 people representing 36 nations from all over South East Asia and beyond. On the last evening, the Singapore Expo hall was packed with over 8000 people. There were about 60 Global Awakening team members from all over the world including 30 Australians like myself. We were joined by over 200 local Singaporean's to pray for the sick, the hurting, and those who just want more of God.
We heard from some great speakers Randy Clark, Bill Johnson, Heidi Baker, James Goll and Tom Jones with worship led by Martin Smith. Starting from the first night when Randy spoke there many healings, including many through God's presence alone. Even without the laying on of hands, my sore shoulder and elbow were healed through a word of knowledge.
Trip highlights included answers to prayer, the impartation sessions from the Global team leaders and just being out and fellowshipping with other team members. There were gems of wisdom from Bill Johnson about the importance of building our meetings around God's presence and how the Lord will give breakthrough to a soldier by strength and authority but to a child by identity. James Goll spoke on decreeing and praying back to God the promises He has first given to us and getting us all to pray the most common prayer ever to God, "HELP!" Notable was Randy Clark's teaching on words of knowledge. This was demonstrated through a team member who received and faithfully declared the nursery rhyme, "Baa, Baa, Black Sheep," which specifically spoke to someone in the audience. In Randy's last session on impartation, God started touching those praying before they could lay hands on anybody. Finally, in the last session Heidi Baker encouraged us all to live in the river of God from Ezekiel 47 and Revelation 22.
Thanks to the Cornerstone team who were amazing conference hosts. Thanks also to the Global team leaders Pat, Tom, Charity, Randy and those who are behind the scenes organizing these trips that allow ordinary people to come and participate while giving God a chance to reveal his extravagance towards each one of us. You always go home having received more than you have given. I would encourage anyone who wants more of God to participate in any one of these trips and see yourself grow.
