December Brazil 2014

Between December 8, 2014 and December 16, 2014, 56 lovers of Our Lord Jesus from Australia, Canada, Egypt, United Kingdom and United States came together in Londrina, Brazil to minister. This group of remnant overcomers is a part of the new class of Kingdom warriors that the Lord has mantled with authority and endued with dunamis resurrection power because they are broken, humble and have a heart for serving and loving on people.

“For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” 1 Corinthians 4:20

Colombia 2014

The FUEGO ("Fire") Global Awakening International Mission Trip to Medellin, Colombia was nothing short of "explosive" and "life changing" for the approximately 40 team members who came from around the globe! The team ministered to several city churches in the Comnidad Cristiana de Fe church network in Medellin, as well as the Viento Fresco (Fresh Wind) Children's Center located in a very poor section of the city. Tom and Jennifer Atwater, the directors of the children's center, and their wonderful staff served as gracious hosts for our 10-day stay in the City of Eternal Spring.

YPI Honduras 2014

The Global Awakening YPI trip to Honduras began with a strong united front. The team of around 130 youth and their leaders arrived July 1 and July 2 into San Pedro Sula, Honduras. After a quick bus ride from the airport to El Manzano, a quaint Honduran restaurant, the team enjoyed a delectable cuisine. It quickly became a favorite where most meals were eaten. Once at the hotel, the students and the rest of the team found their roommates, got their name tags and settled into their hotel rooms. The first night that everyone was there (July 2), students worshipped under the leadership of Nick Riddell from Australia. The team was introduced to the Global Awakening staff and then worshipped some more before dinner and some much needed rest.

Sri Lanka 2014

From the moment we touched down you could feel the importance of this week for the Christian community and for the nation of Sri Lanka. Our leadership remarked that they had never seen a church with such expectation before the conference had even begun. Half the team arrived on the stroke of midnight alongside Eric Johnson and we were dutifully ferried via a coach to our hotel. The amazing care of the team by the local church would continue throughout week, not missing a beat.
