There was an air of anticipation as the team arrived Tuesday, October 6 from the United States, Canada China, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. As groups of team members arrived we were taken by bus to our hotel near the Brasilia airport. We were treated to a wonderful buffet dinner, then off to a meeting for orientation and impartation. Almost all of the team were first time travelers with Global Awakening. Wednesday, October 7. A group of GSSM students arrived and joined the group. The team arrived early for a training session at a local church. Randy was our teacher. After a great lunch we went back to the hotel for a time of rest. In the evening, the team divided into three groups, each ministering in a different church. The power of God was revealed at each location. This team of mostly first-timers was getting a taste of power evangelism, Global Awakening style. We were all amazed, and the name of Jesus was being glorified.
Thursday, October 8. The morning was filled with a time of ministry for the team. Dr. Kim Maas taught on the gift of prophecy, and many of us were activated into a new level of prophetic ministry. After another wonderful lunch and some free time in the afternoon, we assembled in the hotel lobby to load the buses and depart to minister in two churches. Once again, the presence of God was powerfully evident in the services. Team members experienced the Holy Spirit working miracles through our hands. For many this was a new and life-changing experience.
Friday, October 9. After breakfast we piled on the buses for the drive from Brasilia to Anapolis. The trip included a delightful meal at a Brazilian truck stop. Conversation was lively on the bus during the drive to Anapolis. The team was becoming a family as friendships grew. We were becoming a team of miracle workers as we saw the Book of Acts come alive in our midst. That evening we all ministered together in the same church.
Saturday, October 10. This morning we returned to the same church where we were last night. Mike Hutchings delivered an awesome message and God moved powerfully during ministry time. We then had lunch at a Brazilian Churrascaria. What an experience! In the evening, we divided into three teams. One traveled back to Brasilia, while the other two ministered in churches in Anapolis. It was a long night of travel for the Brasilia team.
Sunday, October 11. Morning sessions were held in two churches with half of our team at each. After lunch we met in the hotel for a team meeting and time of impartation. Amazing things happen as Randy Clark and other Global Awakening leaders lay hands on the team and impart the fire of revival. We ministered in three different churches in the evening. Each team continued to experience increase in the anointing day by day.
Monday, October 12. Time to pack up and go home. We loaded the buses in the morning and headed back for Brasilia. At the airport many of us gathered to reminisce about our experiences and share contact information. It was hard to say goodbye to our new friends as we boarded our various flights for the flight home. Our lives will never be the same.
