Marcel came walking painfully with a cane. He had come on a walker two months ago when Blaine Cook had come. At that time he had been healed enough to give up the walker and use a cane but still slowly and with great pain.
He started by saying that he would be healed but over a period of time. I asked if two months was time enough. I told him I thought God wanted to finish the job tonight. He was a little uncomfortable agreeing but was glad to have me pray for him. After the first prayer he didn’t seem to be any better, so I asked him to sit in the front row on a chair. There I prayed again, joined by Joshua Martinez and Travis Hudson. He was then able to swing his left leg without pain, but there was no weight on it. Linda and I asked him to picture himself running again, playing futbol in his red shorts and to thank God that that was the way it was going to be. He did. I had him get up and try to walk. He walked slowly but methodically putting full weight on his left leg several times. He admitted that the pain had gone down to about a 6 or 7 out of 10 and said he was ready to go on home. I told him that often people were healed overnight or over the next 2 or 3 days. He left agreeing that he would be completely healed and gave God the glory. – Lynn
