During the pre-service prayer for the sick, I prayed for Augusto. He had previously tried to kill himself at least six times. He had been in and out psych wards. When I asked what he wanted prayer for, he told me he had depression and damaged/torn muscles or tendons in both shoulders.
He has had surgery for one shoulder and is waiting for surgery the other; however, both shoulders were still painful. I asked Holy Spirit to come fill him with power to heal. After some prayer, he began to cry so I asked for more of the love of God for him. After praying I had him move his shoulders. Immediately he gave me a surprised look and said the pain had left!! Praise Jesus, his whole mood and expression had changed to joy and peace. God is so good! – Jonny
