While on bush bush outreach I sat down in a hut with three girls peeling mangos. We chatted as much as I could with my Makua phrases. We laughed together and after a bit I had the interpreter ask if they knew Jesus. They had seen the film and loved it. We asked if they wanted to accept him as savior and Lord and they said yes! There was so much joy on their faces. – Shontel
When we went on the bush ministry we were put in groups to go out to the surrounding villages. We visited one hut with two men working, grinding flour. We spoke to them a while about Jesus. Both men were Muslim but decided to accept Jesus as their savior and Lord once they heard about Him. – Meknie
I went to visit the 'Baby House’ and one of the beautiful Mozambican ladies who cares for them was taking them to another place to pray for them all. She said it was good for me to go and help, as she was feeling very sick and needed to go home right away.
Whilst out on bush-bush we went from house to house in a group of about 8 to 10 with one interpreter. The village was extremely poor and had a water pump for only a short time. Whilst walking from hut to hut we came across a group of men who appeared to be drunk.
