At a church in Sao Paulo a woman, named Rosi Mar, was in a wheelchair. She was 25 years old and had never walked. As I approached I felt the Father's love for her. I also felt upset that she was in that condition. Through my interpreter , Jessica, we found out that she had been born paralyzed.
A woman came and asked for prayer for an injured back. She had pain for six years from a motorcycle accident. I asked the Holy Spirit to come, and put my hand on her back where the pain was. I prayed for restoration of the back to new.
A team of two others and I prayed for a woman who had a stroke 10 years ago and had to use crutches to walk. She had a pain level of 9. Since the stroke she was also depressed. We prayed for the depression to leave and joy to replace it.
A woman approached me with her three teenage children around her, her son closest to her. Her son spoke English some so I asked him to help translate. Her right arm was in a lot of pain with very restricted movement, but I could also see sadness in her face. (I found out this woman's husband has been disengaged from the family and was addicted to drugs for close to 5 years.)
A lady came with 2 metal crutches and with a waist support (she couldn't walk without them). It was her first time at church. When Carter prayed for only people who were terminal to stand up she did. She told us she wasn't terminal but that she had depression for over 10 years because someone really hurt her.
