I met a policeman and asked if I could pray for him or anyone in his family. He said we could pray for his mother who had a heart problem and he led us to a house with another couple in it. The woman was very reluctant to get prayer as she was Catholic.
There was a woman in a wheelchair that had a stroke. She could not hear, speak, move her arms or walk. After prayer, she began to move her arms and then we whispered "Jesus" in her ears. At first she tried to form the letters of the word and faintly sounded it out.
Two of our clues were blue shirt on a man and left eye. We found a man with a blue shirt on and we asked if he needed prayer for anything. He said he needed prayer for his left eye which was damaged when he suffered a head injury. We prayed once and he saw improvement and started to cry. We prayed two more times and after each time there was improvement until he could read almost perfectly. He was emotional about his healing. – Phil
We met a young woman with a painful hernia in her navel. She needed an operation and was scheduled that week for surgery. We prayed and the pain was gone. She tentatively poked her belly. No pain. We prayed again and no pain. This time she poked her body more vigorously. No pain. She was so surprised! – Phil
