One man came forward for prayer, as it turned out he did not have a relationship with Christ. I shared the gospel with him and shared how Christ delivered me from alcohol and drugs and he could be forgiven and begin a new life in Christ. I led him into a prayer of salvation and prayed for peace, rest and for the Holy Spirit to fill him. Before he trusted Christ as his Savior, he was filled with anxiety, fear and oppression. After trusting Christ, his countenance was changed and he had peace in his heart.
Today we went to a church service. After the message, there was ministry time and I prayed for several women. The 2nd one started to cry while I was praying for her. She dropped to the floor and started crying harder. I was able to get an interpreter and found out that she was feeling deep pain (emotionally) and suffered from panic attacks. I asked if there was anything connected to the start of the panic. Her dad had been in an accident and that was when the panic started. So I encouraged her to not agree with fear anymore (to say that out loud). After she'd done that, I told her that perfect love casts out all fear and God is perfect love. Then I prayed for God to come and break off the panic and the fear - and to fill her with His perfect love and peace.
A pastor’s wife came forward for prayer for lower back pain. I commanded the pain in her back to leave. She received a 50% healing immediately, and her back improved 90% after a second prayer. I sensed the back pain had something to do with a burden she was carrying so I asked her about this. She reported that she is the eldest daughter of several children, and her parents have become more dependent on her lately. She had to take care of everyone in her family as well as partnering with her husband in pastoring their church. I asked her to put each burden one by one into “a box” and place the box at the feet of Jesus.
In the afternoon, the team was asked to coach those who were practicing the five-step prayer model if they requested help. A woman was praying for another woman who had back pain related to an auto accident. The woman’s pain had improved by 50% but was not improving further. I asked if she had forgiven the person who hit her in the car, and she said she was the driver and hers was the only car in the accident. I asked if she’d forgiven herself, and she said no. She forgave herself, and the pray-er then prayed for healing, and she was completely healed.
A woman came forward for prayer for anger. She was particularly angry at her young daughter whom she described as crying frequently. She felt she might have been that way herself as a child. I had her forgive her daughter for the whininess and forgive her parents for anything they might have done that angered her and forgive herself for not being the person she wanted to be. I also cast out a spirit of anger. I put the cross between her and her parents and her and her daughters and declared that nothing could pass through the generations that did not go through the cross. I prayed blessing and love over her, and she felt the peace of the Lord.
