The highlight would be for me that my interpreter gave her life to the Lord. She told me the first night that she really did not want to translate and would it be ok if she just got the prayer needs and the results and left the rest to me. I told her that we could give that a try as I sensed that she was really broken and not up to translating, not aware that she was not saved. The rest of that evening, all I did was touch people very lightly and say "I bless you in the name of Jesus or I bless the body part in need in the name of Jesus." They all just fell; she counted 20 people.
I got two things I thought were from God. First a sore throat which was felt in my throat, then second an impression of a broken heart or real emotional pain. I have never trusted impressions before so this was really different for me.Late last night I kept score on which was more accurate; three of each. One lady came forward with both conditions; a sore throat & unfaithful partner. We prayed first for the throat and this was healed. Then (because the emotional impression came after the throat) we prayed for healing forgiveness and that God would bring partner closer to himself & convict partner of sin/guilt. I also prayed that God’s spirit would fill this lady’s heart & refresh and renew it and that God’s peace could rest on her all night. My interpreter did a wonderful job making sure we both understood each other. God is good! The lady I prayed for last night just came up to me. She had both conditions and she wanted me to know that she feels so blessed & relieved of her pain & fear and doubts. She just could not stop smiling.
I prayed for a pastor who was experiencing depression over division between elders in his church over a building project. I broke spirits of division, depression and unforgiveness. I prayed for unity and Jesus’ love for one another in his church and unity in his marriage. He started jumping around, smiling and laughing. He reported joy and peace. He felt freedom from division and depression and had a surge oflove for himself, his wife and the elders.
During impartation, we were sent up into the church to pray for those as the presence manifests. I was drawn to many, but one young man named Nic was sobbing, shaking rather violently, and I was compelled to lay hands on him. When I did, he bolted up into the air—straight up—and landed back on the ground. Intensity increased as did all sorts of manifestations. He was carried by security staff down to the front and remained on the floor for 30 minutes or so. He found me later and told me that when we touched him, a bolt of electricity that felt like fire went into the soles of his feet and propelled him out of his chair and into the air. He also had a heavenly encounter and felt love like he had never experienced. Amen!
