During the outreach, I stayed behind with the intercessory team to minister to people at the church. I was partnered with a member of the church intercessory team named Aisha. We ministered inner healing and deliverance to two ladies about 50 - 60 years old named Ula. She came for healing for her hand but I got a word of knowledge about her neck. We prayed and her hand was healed but her neck was still bothering her.
God highlighted a Muslim lady to us that was watching her children play at the park. The Holy Spirit showed us that she was really, really tired. We approached her to pray for her. She was friendly but not excited about prayer. When we asked if she had any pain her two children started telling us that she had back pain so severe that she couldn’t sleep at night and that she threw up from the pain. We prayed for her lower back and the pain disappeared.
There was a skateboard park with lots of young folk enjoying themselves. Another team member from Nigeria and I approached a young man(late 20s?) and began to chat. His name was Alexis and was Danish. We introduced ourselves and told him where we were from, and what we were doing. After some preamble, when he indicated he was not a religious person, we asked him how we could pray for him, as Jesus really loved him and wanted to build a relationship with him. He declined and said he was fine, but was happy to chat.
I prayed for a young mother with severe neck pain, limited mobility and lumbar pain. Her lumbar pain was healed first and fairly quickly. After prayer, she gained mobility in her neck and was able to turn her head. Prior to that, I had her turn her head seven times as an act of faith. Her pain went from an 8 to a 3.
