During our team’s free time, a handful of team members ate a meal at a nearby restaurant. Upon sitting down, Timothy received a word of knowledge with nerve pain in his neck, going into the left shoulder. Timothy asked his table and no one said it was for them. Then we asked the waiter, his English was not good. He said no and the waiter left, 30 seconds later, he returned to the table and said, “I now understand, yes, I have pain in my shoulder and it goes down my back.” We prayed. Pain went completely away, he had a huge smile and said, “thank you thank you.”
In the morning while our team was on outreach in the bush, I was sitting in front of the house reading my Bible when I saw a woman complain about her shoulder being in pain. I asked if she wanted prayer, and then a friend and I prayed for her shoulder. After asking her to test it out, she told me it felt completely better. Another woman was watching us and also asked for prayer for malaria. She said she felt better after we prayed (my translator and I). Then another woman asked for prayer because she had pain in her chest. We prayed a couple times because the first time we prayed, the pain left her chest and went into her back. We commanded the demons to leave and she felt better. Then, because I felt the Holy Spirit prompting me, I asked her if she wanted to accept Jesus as her savior.
I prayed for a lady who had pain across the back of her shoulders, down the back, down the left leg and around the left knee. I laid hands on her shoulders and asked the Holy Spirit to come in power. She responded by trembling in her shoulders, then shaking through her whole body, then jumping. I thought this would be causing her pain but she was smiling and jumping up and down violently until she finally collapsed on the floor. The smile on her face told the story. She got up completely without pain.
A woman came forward and asked for prayer for her right leg, which was in constant pain, a tumor in her right breast, her shoulders, which could barely move and always hurt, and for depression. I thought, let’s start from the bottom and work our way up.
I prayed for a young girl in her 20's who had sickle cell anemia and had been diagnosed with a necrotic hip. She had been told she was going to have to have a hip replacement soon but she did not want to do that, especially because she was still young. Her pain was about 6. I placed my hand on her hip and prayed. The pain level decreased to 4. I prayed again, commanding all pain to be gone and for her complete health to be restored. When she moved her hip all the pain was gone. She asked if I could also pray for the pain in her groin area, also associated with the necrotic hip. I prayed and after she moved her leg again covered her mouth with her hands (like she was amazed) and said all the pain was gone. She was still standing with her hand covering her mouth a few minutes later as I was praying for her Mom.
