A woman was seeking direction for a relationship. She would leave, but then end up going back. She said was seeking to hear and follow the Lord, but struggling with wavering and doubt. It sounded similar to me to trying to leave an abusive relationship, but she wasn’t very clear. My initial thought was to break the soul tie if the relationship was unhealthy and she kept getting pulled back, but it wasn’t clear if that was the appropriate way to go. Trying to discern, I asked her if she felt more happy and joyful in the relationship or out of the relationship. She said she was happier in the relationship, so I decided to begin by praying for clarity and the Lord’s lead in her life.

As I was praying, the Lord brought the doubt and wavering back to mind. I had her place the doubt and wavering in her hands and give it to the Lord. Once she had done that and confirmed the He had taken it, I had her asked Him was He wanted to give her in exchange.

The we left space for the Lord to speak. I could see on her face the Lord was touching her. She began to weep and then went more and more.

At a certain point, I was wondering if I should be stepping in, but felt prompted to intercede quietly and allow the Lord to minister. After several minutes, the weeping came to an end and she looked up.

I asked her if the Lord spoken anything to her, offering that she was free to share as much or as little as she would like. She shared that He had spoken to her, but she would keep it to herself because it was very precious to her.

She was full of peace and joy, so it seemed clear that it was the Lord’s voice (versus any others). So I reassured her about treasuring it in her heart between her and the Lord versus needing to shared it.

She had big smiles and hugs for my interpreter & me. I don’t know what took place, but she had an encounter with the Lord that appeared to resolved the burden she had come with.
