From Grief to Healing: A Journey Back to Faith

No one came up for word of knowledge on Wednesday night, but the Lord connected me to her “by chance” on Friday. She had reflux that caused burning in her throat and was affecting her voice. She also wanted direction related to calling. She had a couple different directions she was considering.

I invited the Holy Spirit to come and commanded the reflux to go and digestive system to function properly. Her countenance was very downcast, so I was inviting the Holy Spirit to wahs over her.

There seemed to a grief in her chest that wasn’t budging. I felt it was related to disappointment that had come from opposition she faced when she tried to step out into something. So I asked her if something had happened where she tried stepping into something she felt called to and had faced opposition.

What I recieved back from the translator was that the opposition had not been internal, but external. She had walked away from the Lord, but now wants to come back to Him.

I led her through recieving the Lord’s forgiveness, then giving Him the grief and disappointment. After she had done so, I had her asked Him what He wanted give her in exchange for the grief/disappointment. He showed her a vision of herself as a child writing and that He was so pleased in watching her do that.

We thanked Him and blessed what He was doing in her life. Then I asked how her throat was doing. She checked it out. It had been very painful when we started praying, but all pain and burning was gone afterwards.
