About the Testimony

A young woman approached me in line for prayer. She said she had ongoing pain in her hips and pain wrapping around her right leg. As I prayed, I saw in my mind an image of a black snake curled around her leg, which led me to consider the possibility of it having a spiritual root. I asked her if there was anyone she needed to forgive. She replied “I don’t think so.” I then asked what was happening in her life when this started.
She told me through the translator, “I know exactly when it started. My mother is a priestess in the occult. One night she wrapped a blue and green belt around my waist in a ritual and I’ve had the pain ever since.” I asked her if she would be willing to forgive her mother to which she then said yes. After leading her in a prayer of forgiveness and breaking all ties with the occult, she felt relief and the pain significantly lessen. We prayed again and asked Jesus to reveal the root. I sensed Holy Spirit say, “ask her to renounce the lie that my blood is less powerful than any other power.”
She did so and began to cry. I had her speak the truth, that she belongs to Jesus and is covered by a better blood, completely safe and protected in Him. It was then that she began to cry more and soon fell to the floor, experiencing the Father’s love and healing embrace. Within a few short minutes her whole countenance transformed from fear and pain to joy and safety. She was smiling and reported that all the pain had left!
We serve a God whose blood paid in full for the healing of bodies and restoration of hearts.
