Knee Pain Healed: A Teen’s Miraculous Encounter

Our team had a morning meeting at the church, but returned to the hotel for lunch and a break before the night service. The days before, I received an impartation and was seeing many healings within the church. The schedule had been pretty intense, so I decided to skip lunch and headed for the hotel pool. As I was relaxing in the pool there was a group of local Brazilian teenagers who were also there, celebrating a birthday party.

While I was soaking in the pool I heard God say, “I want you to get out of the pool. I have an appointment for you.” I complained to God that I wanted more time alone and to give me 10 minutes. Some guys from our team showed up at the pool and were playing soccer. I watched as they approached the local teens and imagined that they were going to ask if they needed any prayer. I got out and joined them as they gathered everyone from the party and asked a lady to interpret. They boldly asked if anyone needed healing for anything. I felt like I got a thought about elbow pain so I asked if anyone in the group had elbow pain. This teenage boy said, “I don’t have elbow pain, but my I have pain in my knee.” So I asked if I could pray for him. He agreed, so I put my hand on his knee and commanded the pain to be healed in Jesus’ name.

He was sort of laughing nervously and looking at his friends. I asked him to bend down and check if the pain was still there. He agreed and slowly starting to bend down. As he got half way down, I could see shock come over his face. He bent the whole way down. Still shocked with his mouth open, he stood up and bent low again and again. He could not believe the pain was gone. He looked at me and I told him that Jesus loves him. He was laughing with amazement and telling his friends what just happened.

I was so full of confidence that God could heal anyone at anytime. It was surprising to me how natural and easy it felt to move with what God was doing. I am so grateful for the faith-building messages and impartation for God to use me to bring His Kingdom here.
