I had finished praying for a person and looking around, saw a man and his wife standing in the aisle a little distance away. I placed my hands together like I was praying and pointed to them. They nodded and came forward. Through my wonderful interpreter, I asked what they would like Jesus to do for them tonight. The woman answered that he was deaf in one ear. I replied, “Well then, let’s pray.”
As I started to reach my right hand forward to gently cup his left ear, I felt an impression to “pull the blockage out.” I stopped and explained what I felt and that I would “pull the blockage out” without touching his ear. They nodded in agreement. I reached up and as I “pulled the blockage out,” I felt something release! The man looked surprised and touched his left ear, and without a prompt he covered his right ear (the one that heard normally) and listened. His face changed to wonder and awe, and tears started streaming down his face. His wife started weeping and praising the Lord, “Gloria Deus!” again and again. I was surprised how quickly Jesus healed that ear and joined in celebrating His goodness!
Often I will pray once and then begin asking questions to discover the root. But Jesus! He is so kind!
