Miraculous Healing of Right Knee Pain Through Prayer

During the trip, I received several words of knowledge from my family who were back home in Alabama. On Wednesday, 9/10, my wife, Katie, gave me a word of knowledge that my son, Avery, had received earlier that day. (Avery is 12 years old and has been receiving words of knowledge since our family attended VOA in Woodbridge, VA in 2023.) Avery’s word of knowledge was for right knee pain.

On Thursday morning, while praying for people in the lobby with translator Samuel, Romario came for prayer, saying that he was experiencing level 8 pain in his right knee. Samuel said Romario played soccer, but it wasn’t clear whether the knee pain was due to a sports injury. Romario said someone had prayed for him the day before and that there may have been a slight improvement, but there was still much pain.

I told him about Avery’s word of knowledge and, laying my hands on his shoulders, prayed with Samuel for the pain to leave and for Romario’s knee to be healed. After praying, Romario said the pain level had gone from 8 to 2. I knelt and laid my hand on his knee, and we prayed again, and all the pain left. Praise Jesus!

As we celebrated, Romario’s wife (forgot name) joined us, and they asked for a blessing over their ministry. I shared a word with them and invited the Holy Spirit to fill them anew. They were powerfully touched and both fell to the floor under the power of God.

While I shouldn’t be surprised, it’s amazing to me that God would share a word with my son back home in Alabama and orchestrate events thousands of miles away so that the person God wanted to heal would come to me for prayer. He is so good!!
