A woman in her 60’s had a son die that had special needs. The emotional pain and depression from the loss caused the woman to have medical problems from which she must take medication over the next five years. The Lord led me to instruct the woman to forgive herself for “failing as a mother,” and to ask for forgiveness for being angry at God. I instructed the woman to think about Jesus hugging her and Jesus telling her the following, “I love you and you are forgiven.” “I will take care of your son,” “You don’t need to worry about him anymore.” The woman cried as she released the pain and received God’s love. When the woman opened her eyes she had the biggest smile on her face. She felt totally relieved and free. Praise God!
