A young woman came up for prayer. The translator said she had pain in her knees and thighs and had trouble bending her knees. Two other team members and I prayed for the pain to leave. We asked if it was better and she said, “a little bit”. Then the translator told us that she had been born with a knee problem and that her knees were out of alignment. So, we prayed a second time and had her bend her knees, but there was still pain. We prayed a third time. One of the other people praying said they felt that there was a spirit of affliction. Some prayed for it to leave and continued to ask for healing. She bent down again, and the translator told us that the pain was completely gone.
