Marcos, male, approximately 30 years old, responded to a word of knowledge, “Hodgkin’s Lymphoma” and HIV. He approached me for prayer in response to the work of knowledge. As I interviewed him, he shared a number of very personal things that involved unforgiveness, anger, bitterness, and resentment. He is born again and has repented of lifestyle issues that lead to this illness. He has forgiven those who hurt and judged him, including the church and his mother for trying to abort him.
We asked the Holy Spirit to break loose any bondage’s and to set him free from any thoughts or imaginations that trouble him. I shared how God so deeply loves him and has plans and a purpose for him and that God will set him free and empower him to live his life in a way that will bring honor and glory to Jesus. He said he feels peace and calm and contentment like never before. I prayed for God to bring him joy that will be his strength. There’s no way for me to know if God healed him from the Hodgeskin’s Lymphoma-HIV, but we believe he did. He has a doctor appointment in a few weeks and will have the doctor check. He said he will try to contact me or Global Awakening with the results. He is a member of a strong supportive church now and his future looks pretty bright to me. Praise God!
