At Baptist Central Petrovale on Sunday night, I prayed for the worship leader and felt strongly that God was saying thank you for using her talents in church. I also was impressed to tell her that God promised to protect her and bless her if she continued to sing in church and that if she chose a secular music career she might make money but would not be happy. The pastor later told me that she asked him “Did you talk to that man about me!?” “How did he know?” The pastor explained that she frequently gets asked to come back to the nightclubs as a singer and is offered a lot of money but she has been refusing but it was tempting. The pastor was really happy that God had helped his worship leader stay in church!
