A woman in her sixties with cloudiness in her right eye for the last three years came for prayer. She could not read my name on my name badge held four inches from the eye. She was able to read the same size letters from four feet away with her left eye. The blurriness began about the time her husband had beaten her, breaking her left arm.
Her eyesight worsened as time went on. I began to pray by commanding the right eye to come into agreement with God’s plan for good vision. There was no change. I asked her if she had forgiven her husband for the abuse. She said she didn’t want to forgive him. I explained that the lack of forgiveness would hinder healing. She still didn’t want to forgive her husband. I explained that forgiveness was not denying what happened to her but leaving it in God’s hands, not hers. She then forgave him. I prayed commanding prayers for 1 or 2 minutes. No change. I commanded the spirit of blindness to go and prayed 1 to 2 minutes more. I had her check the right eye vision by reading my name tag from 3 to 4 feet with the right eye only. She could read “Global Awakening” in small print! She said, “I can see! I can see!” The translator was Pastor Donello’s (sp) daughter who was a medical student. She had never seen anything like this before. We blessed the woman and told her to tell all her friends and family that Jesus had healed her. – Phil & Lynn
