We made a house visit to an elderly woman as part of the evangelism phase. The son of the woman was the man who had opened his home up to be a church. We walked into her house and the son asked if we could pray for her healing.
Out of courtesy, she let us pray. However, the son told us how she was very opposed to Christianity. She had a large cyst on her upper right arm. It was very painful and she was planning to get surgery. After 10 to 15 minutes of prayer, she began to feel extreme heat and the cyst shrank from the size of a golf ball to the size of an ingrown hair. She and her son were both amazed. Needless to say she came to church that night.
