It was the night for words of knowledge and when we are on stage, I get a word that someone in the room has tried to commit suicide and has tremendous shame and guilt. It was just a thought that stuck.
I didn’t want to call out something so specific and deep, but the Holy Spirit told me “someone’s life could be on the line tonight. Trust me.” So I called it out and during ministry time one girl around 18 came to me and told me that she was the one I spoke about. She didn’t want to live. I prayed one time breaking the depression, guilt and shame and spoke the love of God into her. Then I asked her how she was and she said that she was completely good and the depression was gone. – Ian, Student
