During evangelism, we met these two guys on the street. They look like they’d been working hard all day. We asked if we could pray for them.
They both accepted; however, the one had some words to say about the church because of past experiences. We blessed him, apologized on behalf of the body, loved him, and invited him to come to church that night. I told him, “All men are broken and sin, but God is perfect and He is a good Father.”
The other man was touched by a prophetic word I gave him concerning his calling a preacher of the word. He told me that this was not the first time that someone came up and told him this. I told him that I had come all the way from the U.S. to confirm this.
Keep in mind, neither one of these two went to church regularly. At the end of the night the “preacher” rededicated his life to the Lord and the “hurt man” decided to give his life to Jesus.
