What is Coaching?
Coaching is a journey of self-discovery in which a coach helps you progress towards your goals. One key aspect of Christian coaching is its focus on allowing the Holy Spirit to lead by hearing and obeying His voice. The focus of each session is determined by you, the client, while your coach aids in exploring the topic and discovering next steps through powerful, focused questions.
Coaching is not a place to receive advice or counseling. You are the expert on your life and context, so your coach will focus on drawing out the wisdom and understanding that already lie within you. Unlike counseling’s focus on the past, coaching maintains a future-focused approach to your life’s journey.

Coaching is an intentional conversation to help you rediscover your dreams, uncover hidden blocks that may be holding you back, and take the next step towards accomplishing your goals. Whether you want to improve your relationships, start something new, tackle an overwhelming vision, or identify and steward God’s call, coaching creates space for clarity, courage, and forward movement.
What will you get out of coaching? Coaching provides a personal relationship with a coach who will help you develop and establish short and long-term goals. Part of this process is developing and implementing strategies to achieve your goals.
Meet the Coaches
Dr. Charity Cook
Dr. Charity Cook is the Director of Voice of the Women and an evangelist with Global Awakening, and is known for combining strong biblical teaching with a practical, equipping focus for the Body of Christ. Growing up in Pennsylvania, Charity was raised with a core value of following the leading of the Holy Spirit (see Rom 8:14) and is committed to helping others along this journey.
In addition to coaching training through Creative Results Managements, Charity holds a Doctor of Theology from Global Awakening Theological Seminary and is a graduate of the inaugural class of the Global School of Supernatural Ministry. She knows the process of taking practical steps towards God-given dreams. She has served on Global Awakening’s staff since 2006, as Executive Assistant for senior leadership, traveling internationally for ministry, and now as the developer and director of Voice of the Women. She is recognized for delivering timely, accurate prophetic words along with expository preaching that emphasizes discovering the truths of Scripture. Charity carries a heart to see the Church encouraged, equipped, and mobilized in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Valora Bock
Valora Bock is a trained coach, an evangelist, and a ministry leader with Global Awakening, known for her prophetic and teaching ministry. She is a leader in Voice of the Women and a frequent contributor at Global School of Supernatural Ministry (GSSM). Valora brings a focus on faith, practical revelation, and kingdom empowered living. She is recognized for weaving personal testimony with clear biblical teaching, helping believers step into deeper intimacy with God and increased confidence in the Holy Spirit’s present day work.
Valora and her husband Patrick have two children: Valyssa and Von. Valora ministers with firsthand knowledge of God’s healing power. A serious car accident left her with multiple physical injuries and severe PTSD. However, God healed her and set her free through the ministry of Randy Clark. God’s touch drastically changed Valora and her husband Pat, igniting a new passion and inspiring them to lay everything down to follow Jesus. This journey took them on a grand adventure. At first, they served on staff at Sun Coast Worship Center with their pastor, Tom Jones. Soon after, they followed the leading of the Holy Spirit to Nova Friburgo, Brazil where they worked in the favelas as missionaries with Iris Ministries.
Shortly after returning from Brazil, Pat began working for Global Awakening and Valora began ministry school followed by co-leading a hungry small group that grew into Son Burn Encounters and Son Burn School of Passion. Valora is passionate about sharing God’s heart for His people through prophetic ministry as well as seeing people encounter God personally.
