Stepping Into Destiny
Carried Along By God’s Grace
How do you become a mighty warrior? How do you become a person of faith? How do you step into your prophetic destiny?
For most of us, our journey through life is circuitous. We experience ups and downs, and sometimes when we obey the leading of the Lord, things get worse. In those times, most of us will ask questions such as, “Is it ok for me to ask God for a sign? And how do I know if I’ve missed the move of God?”
Doubt, fear, needing a sign…these are all normal things to feel. Thanks be to God that he has given us the unvarnished stories of people in the Bible to show us the way.
Today I’m going to examine the story of Gideon in the book of Judges. You and I aren’t facing down 130,000 Midianites, but we are facing what can seem to be innumerable obstacles. God’s gracious manor with Gideon is a wonderfully encouraging model for us.
So whether you’re full of faith or full of doubt today, let’s dive in together to Gideon’s story in Judges. May we each become more of a mighty warrior, more of a person of faith, more confident in our prophetic destiny today.
P.S. I’ll be speaking next at Voice of the Apostles at the end of September. Along with my friends Bishop Joseph Garlington, Andrew Wommack, Will Hart, Pastor Sam Rodriguez, Joanne Moody, Tom Jones, Leif Hetland, and our associates, I expect the conference to be a powerful time of destiny release. As you process the message this week, ask the Lord if he’d have you participate in some way. Space is still available to attend in person, or you can watch the webcast through Global On Demand.

This commment is unpublished.· 6 months agoThe God of all encouragement and comfort encourages and comforts weak, frail, petrified Gideon. Why? Because God wants us to know Him!!! He walks with us every step of the way.

I've had confirmations from others when a prophecy or word of knowledge is given. I've been in my situation for over 15 years now but with many of God's graces and blessings though still waiting on the breakthroughs that are so desperately needed for three generations in my family. Pray for perseverance and peace as well as you wait. Do what you can do in the meantime of what God calls you to.

Thank you for taking the time to share your wisdom and knowledge so that others can become What God created them to be. You are one of the fathers of the faith that I totally look to for encouragement wisdom and God’s move.

This commment is unpublished.· 7 months agoI greatly appreciate this message. Especially when facing long-term prayer for health, medical, financial etc. - and you don't get a clear word about what "obedience" looks like, I find the silence, stillness and waiting the hardest part. I.E., how to measure in community too when the prompting is from God or not. I guess that means on a process level, my question is less about "Can God do it?", than it is, is the message from God? The most hopeful part, is that scripture uses times when our resources are exhausted, and our faith is weak. It just would be nice to not have to been in that place for years, for so many of us. Spirit please help give us the faith and mercy we need to do what you are asking
