“The coming revival must begin with a great revival of prayer. It is in the closet, with the door shut, that the sound of abundance of rain will first be heard. An increase of secret prayer with ministers will be the sure harbinger of blessing.” – Andrew Murray
Prayer has always been a foundation in the Christian life, and historically, it has been the preceding factor in every great awakening. For the body of Christ, prayer offers an invitation for a move of God. Mark 11:24 shows us where Jesus says, “…whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Every move of God has begun because of those who ask for it, and even now, we need to ask. The Lord requires His bride’s readiness to press in and go deeper.
For some, it has become more of a chore to pray than a form of intimacy with our Bridegroom; for others, they may not even know how to pray. Prayer is so much more than just the act of talking to God. Faith, healing, relationships, and other parts of our lives are all centered around prayer. It is the fuel to our flame that God started the moment we gave our lives to Him. This conference offers everyone who comes a space to refocus and ignite their prayer lives while being trained and equipped in the foundations of prayer.
1 Thessalonians 16-18 says, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” If prayer is necessary, don’t we want to do it well?
