Three weeks ago on June 15, I woke up with a strong sense that a girl named Victoria who was 10-years old was being attacked by a spirit of assassination/murder. I prayed at the time, but had no clue if this was a real person or if this was just in my head.
I asked around at Vacation Bible School at the church and ask a few people if they knew a girl named Victoria or even Veronica thinking maybe I got the name wrong. I thought this was very strange but this feeling wouldn’t go.
On July 6th, we went to a church in Jundai, Brazil. We were preaching and ministering through praying for the sick. During the sermon, I got two words of knowledge. The first was for the left kidney. The second was for a pain in the neck at the base of the head. We weren’t given an opportunity to give words of knowledge due to time constraints. So we were just called up to pray and anyone that needed or wanted healing was asked to come up.
The first person who came up to me was someone asking for prayer for their left kidney. I told the interpreter to explain that I wrote that down earlier and I believed that God wanted to heal them. I showed them and the interpreter looked at my notes showing that I wrote it earlier. We prayed and the woman was healed!
The second person who came up to me was someone asking for prayer for pain in the base of the neck. Again, I told the interpreter to explain that I wrote that down earlier and I believed that God wanted to heal them. I showed them and the interpreter looked at my notes showing that I wrote it earlier. We prayed and that woman was healed!
Next, a woman and a girl walked up for prayer. I asked the girl what was her name? She said, ‘Victoria.’ Then I asked, “How old are you?” She said, “Ten”. Then I asked what can I pray for her about? She then said that she sees demons in her house.
I said, “I had a dream about you!” Then I took out my phone with the list of words of knowledge and showed her that her name was written “Victoria 10” there in my notes. I told her that three weeks ago, God told be about her. And I have been praying for her!
I talked to the woman who was with her and they told me that some people in the church had visited her and her family. While they were there, she said that she saw demons. The woman began to explain to me that the parents were not Christians and they were not at the church now. The woman had picked her up to bring her to church.
I got down on one knee and talked to the girl about Jesus. I asked her if she believed in him and led her in a prayer of salvation. I then told my interpreter to stop translating. I began to rebuke the devil. I prayed that all attacks of the enemy would stop. I loosed a spirit of peace and joy over this girl and her home. After I was done, I asked her: “Do you know what happens when we ask Jesus into our hearts? He sends us our very own angel! Our angels are really big and really strong and they protect us!” She smiled and laughed! Then I said, “If you see those demons again, this is what you say: ‘Leave me alone in Jesus name!’ and they have to leave you alone! She was like, “Really, that’s it?” I said, “Yes. They have to listen because you have Jesus in your heart!”
Afterwards, I just hugged Victoria for a while! The pastor was still praying and as he prayed, I just hugged this girl and cried and she cried! After the pastor had finished, I wanted to speak with him to ensure that this girl would be looked after once we left! I told him the entire story. He told me that when he was praying to close out the service, when he looked at the girl, the Holy Spirit told him that she had been set free! Then the pastor asked if I would give testimony to this the following evening. After that, he said that he would make arrangements to go to this girl’s house the next day so that we can pray over her house and her family!
The next day, July 7, We went back to the church to evangelize. The pastor made arrangements for a couple of us and the interpreter, as well as the pastor’s wife to go to visit Victoria and her family and neighbors. I shared the gospel with 15-20 people in the house. Victoria’s mom and grandma accepted Jesus in their hearts! We prayed and one woman was healed, another had an emotional healing. – Amanda
