A man came forward seeking prayer and we had to wait patiently for an interpreter to become available. Through the interview I learned that he had not come seeking prayer for himself, but, rather, he wanted prayer for his son to receive an early release from prison. Leaning on the Holy Spirit for words to pray, I first placed my hand on the father’s heart and addressed the agony in his heart. Then we prayed that the son would fully acknowledge and repent of his sin that resulted in the incarceration. We prayed for God’s divine grace for the situation and specifically for an early release from prison. I went on to pray for the son’s rededication of his life to Jesus Christ and that he would be used by God to bring salvation to many and glorify God in all things. – David, Civil engineer
