Honduras 2011: Salvation

A middle aged man came to the dental area verbally agitated and non-direct able. Praying, he then calmed to the point that he was quiet. With the help of the interpreter, we said he knows about Jesus but wasn’t ready to accept Jesus as his Savior. He came back the next day and said he was so impressed with the compassion we all showed him the day before. I introduced him to the local pastor with the help of the interpreter. We all spoke for a while as the pastor explained the need for Jesus in our lives. Then the man prayed and accepted Jesus. The pastor saw the man as becoming a leader in the community and he agreed to be discipled and to receive follow-up. I gave him a Bible in Spanish. The church community was going to have a service near his house in the street the following day!
