A 22-year-old woman asked for prayer for emotional healing. She had struggled with depression (her mother does as well as suicidal thoughts). We broke generational curse of depression and broke the agreement with hopelessness and loneliness.
I got a word of knowledge which was the phrase “doesn’t measure up”. She confirmed that she feels this way. I explained how God loves her just the way she is and doesn’t have to earn or prove her love. I asked her what her dreams are. She said God has given her dreams/visions of traveling around the world and telling people about Jesus. I asked her what is keeping her from her dreams? She indicated fear.
I spoke 2 Timothy 1:7 over her. “God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love and self-discipline.” She smiled and said that the Lord has been speaking that verse over her but she didn’t know where it was in the Bible.
As she told me her dream, I saw her in a hot air balloon and the Holy Spirit was the wind and fire that lifted her up and propelled her forward. I said to her, “you just have to get in the ‘basket’ (of the hot air balloon) and go!” I described this to her and spoke Zechariah 4:6 over her, “not by might nor by power but by my Spirit.” I blessed her dreams and asked the Lord to fill her with his Spirit, love, and joy and prayed that His peace would rest upon her and surpass all understanding. She went from sad to joyful and from discouraged to encouraged.
After we closed in prayer, she said the Lord told her to find a blonde woman to ask for prayer and she found me. God is so Good!
