Tongue Untied

I gave a word of knowledge for being “tongue-tied” in Sorocaba, Brazil. Alleshardre (a man in his 50s) responded. He was born tongue-tied. This meant he could not pronounce certain words, and he felt a lot of shame. The piece of skin holding his tongue to the bottom of his mouth was too short. If he tried to touch the roof of his mouth with his tongue, he would feel a burning sensation in this piece of skin. If he tried to move his tongue to the back of his mouth, he would feel a burning sensation. After a brief prayer commanding shame to leave and his tongue to be loosed, Alleshardre said he could feel his tongue was totally different. He could touch the roof of his mouth with no pain and had no pain moving his tongue to the back of his mouth. The skin under his tongue had grown. He was fully healed.
